                     hestia couldn’t help but roll her eyes to the sound of ‘jones’,  completely despising the name, though she wouldn’t tell jasper this. it was too much of a long story, one that was told too many times it felt. “what makes you think i carry tea in my trunk ? anyways, i know what you meant,  i just don’t know if i can muster the energy to even take my wand out. i’m just so… tired.”

jasper’s grin got a little cocky when he noticed the eye roll.  “so there’s a little spark left in there after all, huh?”  he tried his hardest not to laugh at her next question, though it ended up coming out as somewhat of a scoff.  “because you seem like the exact type of person who has about twenty different varieties of tea in her trunk.  dunno, it’s just a hunch.  i think some people call it a ‘mum friend’?”  he gave her a pout of mock-pity.  “too tired to pull your wand out?  come on, it can’t be that bad.”

“you ever followed those rules in the first place?”  jasper asked.  half-taunting, half-genuinely curious.  he was almost certain that nobody above fifth year had taken the new rules seriously for more than a day.  he approached, broom in hand no doubt causing him to swagger a little.  the quidditch pitch was one of the only places at hogwarts where he didn’t feel like a waste.  “ah, so the truth comes out.”
