Kenneth Cassidy is a former competitive surfer living out his life in the small town of Tiburon, CA with his extended family. Affectionately called "the Shark" by the surfing community and living off his early retirement money, he has his own house but often prefers to crash at his family's place just to pester his brother and visit his niece, Kat. With Kat now just entering Highschool, she soon makes a discovery about her beloved uncle that would turn her world upside down, but in the most unexpected way....

For most of his life, at the light of the full moon upon the dark ocean surface, Kenny would transform into a giant, beastly tiger shark with the focus and intent to fulfill his shark instincts and attempt to satiate his ravenous tiger shark appetite. But don't let this description fool you, he isn't the mindless were-beast the movies and books sell to you, he's still the lovable, caring yet zany Kenny that many know and love. He still talks, thinks, and expresses, just happens to uh.... Look a little different from what you remember. Neither is he the brooding mysterious type, far from it actually as he fully accepts his nature with open arms, he just keeps it secret since he obviously doesn't wanna get opened up and prodded at by some overly curious scientists or anything, and it would scare the daylights out of the average person
