Seeking Stem Cell Donors

I recently received news that a dear friend of mine is facing a relapse of the same Leukemia that took my father’s life last year. She is going to need a stem cell transplant and is seeking the right donor. She is located in Canada but the donor doesn’t have to be located there currently.

Donor must be of greek and jewish descent and under the age of 35.

If you fit these qualifications and would be willing to donate, please contact me directly. If you know anyone that would be a good fit, please pass on this information to them so they can get in touch with me.

I have been friends with Marina for 25 years, well over half my life. We were penpals in the early 90s and reconnected on Facebook many years ago. I made this piece (seen above) for her when she was originally diagnosed in 2013. She was my mental rock during my father’s illness and continues to be so as I deal with grief. She is an amazing human being and deserves to be given every chance possible.
