im a big fan of stuff, things, items, and phenomena and i enjoy rambling on about things that are of no interest to anyone but me. im my own biggest fan because my memory is so shit that i discover my own writing and jokes and whatnot completely anew and think holy shit this guy is a genius. i like to play toys and draw. i would list what im into here but it would be a very long, weird, and ever-changing list and that sounds like a major pain in my ass. read my comic also to receive my loyalty to a certain extent

(it’s been a long long time since I’ve last drawn him with “killing your alternate self” imagery. probably because him and navy are no longer enemies. but it’s still fun)

guess who’s back it’s my wondrous shithead (my dumb ass still can’t remember to put the right year on my signature)

i finally have a concrete idea for how jay’s mutation works: he looks and acts almost completely normal from the outside, but internally there’s pretty much nothing normal about him (he doesn’t like to think about it). every tissue in his body can and does regenerate just wherever, what i would describe as a fucked up turbo-endometriosis situation except with every organ, so that no matter what body parts are lost or damaged, a new one will eventually show up… somewhere. probably not in the right spot and probably not the way it's supposed to look. as far as jay is concerned this means he’s invincible. he always makes a huge fucking mess bleeding everywhere. he makes so so much blood.

he’s actually adapted pretty well, all things considered, and has developed an incredibly off-putting way of talking about his (many) injuries. “no biggie i can just make more teeth” “can always just grow another liver” freak ass. the only reason he’s so relaxed, and most likely the only reason he’s so “normal” given his general emotional instability and weird sense of self pre-visit, is that he’s become absolutely convinced that the purpose of his mutation is to give him the power to protect Maxie. his singleminded drive to get maxie and himself through the apocalypse in one piece is probably the main thing keeping him so stable

(Maxie is absolutely not as down with this as Jay thinks, by the way. he’s already stressed as all hell and seeing Jay repeatedly throw himself into mortal danger really bothers him. they’re still ride-or-die for one another, of course, but sometimes the person that Jay became in only a few days freaks him the hell out. won’t stop them from rolling bottles down the stairway or throwing stuff up into the ceiling tiles together, though.)

these days i find that i'm basically incapable of making fan characters and instead whenever i find something new i like i feel the urge to jam the goldenage fellas into it instead. hence the following:

for once it's not jay because bro would be so completely fucked. for kev this would be tuesday.

anyway he's an engineering student with a talent for fixing things and building doohickeys, he carries around both a modified air gun of questionable legality and an obscene amount of random ammo + nuts, bolts, and screws, he has a freakishly positive and well-adjusted outlook, and he has a deep appreciation for heavy machinery. it took him a long time to notice anything was going on because he was locked the fuck in making some kind of dubious contraption and forgot the world around him existed.

now go, take this before i get uncharacteristically embarrassed for shoving my ocs into shit
