Just a drawing of my best boy Red from Pokémon Masters EX. It’s been a while since I drew him last time. I might do some other trainers too in similar style(?).
I'm also trying to figure out little by little how to improve my art style to the point that I want it to be.
In this case I just tried to draw things out of my memory without a proper reference so I could apply my own stylish details here and there (I had to check some references for the pose though). That's probably also the reason why I got some details completely wrong as well but I think it just makes things more recognisable from artistic point of view, meaning that it looks more like my style after all. Things get more interesting if you can alter the original source a little bit!
I totally forgot to upload this on my Tumblr portfolio it seems. Oh well, here it is anyways. I like to draw some cutesy art thing every year for Valentine’s Day and this year wasn’t an exception in this matter. These two sheep Pokemon are just the best! <3
It's been a while since I've done any kind of art at all since I have a very busy schedule with school and other stuff so I haven't had time for drawing on a regular basis. I hope this will change soon.

I just love Sailor Waddle Dee so much and it makes me sad that his fate is left unclear in the end of Revenge of Meta Knight. If he really drowns in the end of the game, then perhaps his soul will sail and dance for an eternity on the waves of the Secret Sea, who knows.⠀
Nothing too special here art wise but I really like the result! It also eases my stress when I do the line art the way I did in this case.⠀

I was inspired heavily by Highland dancing. The traditional Sailor's hornpipe is simply the best! It looks so fun and I wish I could learn the steps some day 🎶⠀

The concept and uniform design in this art are from @marioswap 's MarioAU. I just added some little details here and there with their permission, of course.
This was very a fascinating and challenging project to colour since I have never tried to render water surface from straight above perspective before. I must admit that water is not my strongest element to draw or colour and I definitely need more practice, but I'm still quite happy with the result.
I wanted to create a marker-ish outcome so I decided to test my new marker brushes on Clip Studio Paint. I coloured this pretty much the same way I colour with traditional copic markers but the blending process is just so much easier when you have the chance to experiment with different things, and correct the mistakes if something doesn't work the way you want.
Programs used: Paint Tool SAI for lineart and Clip Studio Paint for coloring process.
I've been playing Super Mario 64 a lot lately and obviously I just had to sketch something quick out of it! In addition to the raccoon power-up (super leaf),the wing cap is my absolute favourite power-up in 3D Mario games. It is kind of a shame that it's obtainable only in Super Mario 64 and its remakes. :' <

I swear that the frog suit is probably one of the most difficult power-ups to draw.. it's been over ten years since the last time I drew this pesky little frog thing :’D But I have to say that it's also one of the funniest power-ups in Super Mario Bros. 3 and it's a shame that the froggy suit is pretty much forgotten nowadays (though it appears in Paper Mario Sticker Star and Colour Splash but let's not talk about those).

- MYTH & ROID - Forever Lost
Finally, some new art! I finished this approx a week ago but I didn't have the energy to post it anywhere back then :'D
I got inspired by plenty of things, from The Flower Field in Steam Gardens level of Super Mario Odyssey and Mario & Luigi Dream Team's Sacred Somnom Woods level (and music) to the animation in Made in Abyss' outro named "Tabi no Hidarite, Saihate no Migite".
Also, I listened to the soundtracks of Made in Abyss over and over again while working on this, the show has some marvellous music indeed. The lyrics above are from the theme song of "Dawn of the Deep Soul" -movie and I just fell in love with that song instantly when I heard it first time and thought about the lyrics a lot when I sketched this.
I really like the result myself and I'm proud of how this came out! I wanted to create an artwork that looks like it's been made with watercolours, of course it's very difficult to get the same touch digitally since the traditional watercolouring is quite unforgiving, unpredictable and difficult to correct and control after all, but I think I succeeded on some level.
The picture looks like it's straight out of a children's book and that's the look I was aiming for. I guess I should do an art book or something : D

Hi folks! I made some new art for the new year! :D I got the inspiration for this from the Japanese Nintendo Magazine's cover art where Mario notices a falling snowflake and has a green scarf which is obviously Luigi's.. well, not necessarily but it was the first thing that came to my mind Mario has probably lost his own scarf while going on an adventure or something, who knows? And Luigi, being the perfect and best little brother ever, of course gives Mario his own scarf.

I gotta say that I really like how this turned out! For once I'm actually quite happy with the result! Yay! ^-^

Inktober is here and once again I'm going to upload some ink art on my art blog during this month. Just like previous year, I won't follow the official prompts (at least every time) and I'm definitely not going to update every day.
Also, I'm going to cheat a little bit today since this artwork was already mostly done and I inked only a part of it today. The original sketch was all about designing the dress (I like to design new dance dresses at times) so I basically coloured the dress part long time ago and left the rest of the work as a sketch but today I finished it completely. The anatomy in this one looks a bit weird too since I only focused on the dress back then so please be merciful, quick sketching is a thing :’’D

(Actually the real anniversary date was on September 13. when the original Super Mario Bros. was released on NES in Japan in the year -85) but since Super Mario 3D All-Stars for Switch was published today, this is a great opportunity to celebrate that as well. The thing called fan art Friday is real : D⠀

But yeah, Mario franchise has always had a special place in my heart because the games were a huge part of my childhood. In a way, Mario games have often been the unifying factor between my friends and family since we have always played those games together, and sometimes we still do! 💕⠀

I had the greatest need to have a hug couple of months ago, I was all alone in my apartment and I couldn't meet my friends, siblings or parents at all because of the corona isolation. I felt so lonely and sad back then so I decided to do some sketching (I really had to put my feelings on paper) and voilà!
I'm so happy with the result even though I almost lost my mind while colouring the flowers (I really dislike doing backgrounds, especially repetitive ones). So that's why it took so long to get this art piece done but I think it was definitely worth it! And I'm feeling a lot better now too : 3

This was such a fun project to do but oh boy, there were some difficulties too! I'm not very happy with the Lucas' pose here (It looks way too stiff for my taste) but I like how the colours turned out! I wanted to try something different and dynamic with the pose but it seems I still have a long way to go.. I should've just changed the pose entirely and start from the scratch but I was just too stubborn to give up *sigh*. Well, practice makes perfect and I let it go this time.
I had a huge need to draw Lucas with a keytar since it's his combo instrument in Mother 3. And for the outfit, I was just thinking something very stereotypical 80's stuff (I was also listening to one very famous Finnish 80's band while drawing this so that "might" have inspired me a little).
And the keytar Lucas is playing here is heavily inspired from a Roland AX-Synth. I think the design of that instrument is so elegant and cool so I wanted to sketch something in a similar manner.

Just a stupid idea I decided to go through with after all.. I was drawing something else entirely but then I heard this song on my old anime playlist; my hand just slipped and I couldn’t stop myself from drawing this Madoka Magica parody (or tragedy perhaps in this case). I think I have just crossed that very subtle line of cringe when it comes to this art piece but I liked the final result quite a lot myself so I wanted to share it with you guys :’3
I just think that the lyrics of this song are so amazingly suitable with Lucas and Claus as well, and they all (Sayaka and Kyoko too) end up in pretty painful situations in the end of their character arcs.
Most of the times I get my inspiration from music and especially the mood that the music brings around me. In this case though, it was the lyrics and the setting of that ending picture that led me into this project, I consciously copied the scene from the original picture pretty straightforwardly because I wanted to get the same aesthetics in to my art, however, I still wanted to bring my own style with it as well so it’s recognizable that the picture is done with my art pattern but the composition is copied from somewhere else on purpose, if that makes any sense.
With this said, I don’t own any rights to the original art piece that can be found below or the song and its lyrics, I don’t get any kind of financial benefit from this, I just wanted to have some fun : ) . The original art is from the episode 9 of Puella Magi Madoka Magica series with Sayaka’s and Kyoko’s character song “And I’m home”.

An extremely strange crossover fan work from Rayman and Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series. I got inspired from Unakimochi’s Rayman magical girl artwork on tumblr and I wanted to design Rayman’s own magical girl boy outfit. So there you have it, magical boy Rayman and Ales Mansay Incubator to make your day better! (By the way, my next artwork is going to be something Madoka-crossover-parody related as well so this serves as a great awkward transition between them, shame on me now).
Even though this piece is already six years old, I'm still very happy how it came out! Most of the times I can't even look my old art but this is a nice exception to that pattern. Yeah, the idea is strange, I know; there is basically no connection between these series whatsoever (except the fact that the protagonists trust someone who pretty much betrays them in the end) But I remember having a good time while making this, so no regrets!
