I have STORES of fanfic I’ve written over the years sitting in the dust of Google Docs because I’m too scared of getting the author curse if I post them. I am NOT taking any chances right now.

I wanna know where people have lately gotten the audacity to leave comments on fanfics talking about how much the fanfic sucked and negatively critiquing an author's fic like it's a published book review.

It pisses me off cause I've seen authors abandoned or delete their fics because of this.

You're getting fanfics for FREE! No one asked for your opinion.

I hope y'all know as authors we get email notifications when you comment so we see EVERY comment that's been left.

We also can see the negative reviews you leave when you bookmark our fics

hiiii mirrors author here! Ik my moot malinla already confirmed, but I'm all good! Haven't been kidnapped yet lol! New chapter is still in the works and almost ready to post, I've just been going through it a bit lately (unrelated to the authors curse) so progress has been pretty slow on my end, but I'm almost there! Just got a couple small transitional sections and a few areas that I don't like that are driving me absolutely crazy 😭🫩 but it is what it is

Spamton is Homura because he knows a lot more than he should, and because his caring for Tenna (leading to him signing the deal) leads him to a whole lot of suffering. However, Homura‘s obsession is way more present in Tenna I think. Spamton also sees Tenna‘s „nature“ (Lord of screens) dooming him, much as Madoka‘s nature (selflessness/low self-esteem) dooms her.

This came to me after I started animating lol I just saw „doomed“ and had to connect them

so I know a lot about IB bc of being in it and I’ve said it a lot (said=ranted about) but when I wrote shoot your shot Pick was in year two of IB. I’m starting mine out, specifically art right now so it’s just like Pick, and I knew a lot about year two cause I was friends w a lot of them while I was in year one.

And lemme tell yall all the IB stress I stressed about (pun intended) in the fic is NOT false. At this point I may have underestimated it 💔💔💔

this one I feel was a bit lazy in the dialogue, so apologies for that lol, just wanted to make a joke about Tenna meeting the addisons and not going that well given they all resemble his old business partner and Spamton jumping in to sell him another dumb thing that Tenna may like. then I remembered well but Tenna went there to maybe make a friend not buy stuff, so I drew this little bonus here to tie it all, I feel Spamton would eventually reveal himself as himself in this, but for now he just couldn't say no to this offer:
