Revenge Of The Sith-Padme's Funeral & 'Ophelia' Painting by John Everett Millais.
“The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back. Love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars.”

thought about this again. kind of amazing how we’re all just chasing ways to duplicate how this scene makes us feel, either in life or in art.
thinking about when mark told the story of how when they were shooting, he said to george, "darth vader has a musical theme, han, leia all have themes, do i have a theme song?" and george going "mark, the main theme is your theme song"
All of the flashback scenes were shot in a very short period of time. And it was a bit of acting gymnastics, because we were going from happy moments to very dark, sad, difficult moments. Ben Stiller and Jessica Lee Gagné had this idea to film on a Bolex, which is like an old film camera. So, in between setups, Adam and I would go outside, and Ben would capture these happy moments. It felt very wild and free and loose, which is very different to how the whole show is essentially shot in this controlled, oppressive symmetry. And the lighting and everything is very stark and harsh. To be in that environment felt really freeing.

You are, like, an awesome guy stuck inside the body of somebody who's always running late. And I gotta, like, fish that fuckin' guy outta ya every time I see ya.

devon: okay so we’re going to wake innie mark up for his third ever time being outside. cobel if you could just stand upstairs in the most menacing part of this room that’d be amazing
“I don't wanna lose you, okay? You see how people love you? Do you see what happens when you walk into a room? I would give anything to know what that feels like, man. To know what it feels like to have charm. To light up a room when I walk in. But you light up a room and then you, like, shit on everything inside of it.”
