I have a question for all of you.
After the brain breaking revelations of episode 7, how does episode 8 start? Picture it, everyone's on the couches together. Just looking at each other.
They want to hang out like usual, but they can't. They all just watched Jax do the least forgivable thing anyone could ever do in the circus, after a years-long track record of doing pretty heinous things. Beyond just being an asshole to everybody, he's been known to let abstracted people loose on others. He's inflicted lots of physical pain. People who get close to him end up abstracting. He yelled at Pomni. He only cares about himself.
Then he hits the wrong button while everyone watches, doing what he believes will doom all 6 of them forever.
Some people will accept the excuse that Caine influenced him to do it, but probably not everybody. We can anticipate conflicts in the long term related to this, but I want to know about the immediate consequences.
Everyone's hanging out in the circus, and someone has to break the ice. Someone has to get Jax to explain what he did and why, and Jax has to come up with something to say. He could try deflecting like usual, but absolutely everyone will see through it.
Whether or not they can figure this out, Caine is inevitably going to show up and say "FOR TODAY'S ADVENTURE..." and there's ZERO way anyone is going to have it.
"TODAY'S ADVENTURE IS CALLED-"
"You control our minds dude"
"Give me my wife back"
"Who's Scratch?"
"Everyone please, let's just have fun and go on an adventure!"
"You designed my body to never feel right"
"We want to leave for real"
"Fuck off"
What could they possibly do? How could episode 8 possibly be structured? What happens now? What the hell?
How do you picture the opening scene of episode 8 going down?
