Hello there, my name is Jaya Dewi. I am the head of medicine for International Rescue, alongside Virgil Tracy. The CEO's logic for this was that if Virgil gets injured 'we're all doomed'.

My pronouns are she/her, and I am from Indonesia, but spent a brief amount of time studing paramedicine in the UK. As such, I speak Indonesian and English.

I use she/her pronouns, am 38 years old, and have a degree in paramedicine.

For the record, I'm only on here because Alan told me to get with the times and I will not be upstaged by a teenager.

Keep in mind, I don't appreciate anything not safe for work, so please don't send anything questionable.

Due to having to make sure that the liabilities that live on the same island as I do do not die, I will not be online 24/7. Please keep this in mind, but I will answer any questions as soon as possible.

🍂 Favourite clothes or outfits? - My IR uniform is very practical, though I do enjoy a good cardigan.

🛟 Have I ever needed rescuing before? - I frankly do not often land in that sort of situation, so no. I'm hoping that it doesn't happen at all in future.

🩹 Am I squeamish? - Of course not, I'm a registered paramedic, that's the sort of thing that would make you drop out of the course on year 1. Not to say that you can't become a paramedic if you're squeamish, it would just make it significantly more difficult.

This island has many strange features that I cannot legally disclose but mark my words this place would probably be heavily investigated by WorkSafe if they actually knew where we were. No wonder they pay me so much that I can take unpaid holidays whenever I wish without worrying about income insecurity. And they won't fire me either because one of the boys will inevitably be crushed by a rock or burn up in a building ten thousand miles away from the nearest hospital whilst TB1 is filling up on fuel. They can't exactly get rid of me. So thus, I must deal with the godawful entrance chute. Don't even get me started on how you're upside down for half of it.
