what do you like the most about your essay?
I love the length of my essay and the trove of information it includes, plus the graphs and pictures that support my writing. The background also helps it stand out and feel more official. Overall, I’m really satisfied and proud of my work.

Week 15- What are you most proud of with your writing process?
Writing for digital spaces has changed the way I think about communication. It is not just about explaining ideas clearly anymore, it is about how those ideas are received by an audience who can respond, question, or ignore what you post. In #writ318mu, I have started to realize that writing online is more conversational than academic writing. It requires me to think about tone, structure, and clarity in a different way. Instead of just aiming for correctness, I am learning to aim for connection. Feedback from peers has helped me see how my writing comes across to others, which makes me more aware of how important audience really is. Writing in this space has helped me become more confident sharing my ideas publicly and more intentional about how I present them.

What do you like most about your essay?
My favorite part of my essay is that you can see everything I have learned throughout the semester. This is important to me because with every class I take I hope to continue growing as an individual both academically and non-academically. When reading my essay you can clearly tell how much I have grown in this class. This is important because in order to learn academically you must continue to grow as an individual within the classes. I also have enjoyed reflecting back on the semester in my letter. It adds to the viewing of growth throughout the semester.
I completely agree with what you said, I feel the same way its nice to look back and see where you came from at the start of the class.

The part that I like best about my essay is its organization and flow along with the graphics and placements of screenshots. Everything has been structured in such a way that the reader will be able to soak in most of the information.

What I am proudest of in my writing process is that it allows me to develop a sense of structure, graphics, and continuity in my work. The planning and writing stages help me to arrange the paper effectively, incorporate illustrations, and ensure consistency throughout the paper.

One of the comments I got from Dr. P is that I should not have images of my data collection (I have one of these for each of the creators). She said I should have graphs instead of a spreadsheet. It would be really helpful to know what kind of graphs you are putting for this huge collection of data.
These are some of the graphs I have later on in my project. This is not included in the question I asked above. I have a graph of Average percentage of comments and Video Comparison of average views, and one comparing the averages of likes. Are these graphs and the following explanation good. Could I make these graphs better?
These are the images I included for examples of Zach Choi's posts. One of the comments I got from Dr. P is to include more posts. I included an examples like this from each creator. How many image post examples did you included in yours and how did you incorporate them?
for my data I just put a link to it at the end and when it comes to the graphs this is what I did.
I have had no comments on the way I show the data I would suggest just sticking to bar graphs if its compatible with your data.

This is my conclusion. I want to know if I successfully showcase why my project matters.
I think I touch slightly on how video length is an extremely important part of a Youtubers content strategy but I am not sure if I should clarify more.
I usually struggle on conclusions and wrapping up all of my findings in a simple way, so feedback would be appreciated!
I personally think you did a nice job on the conclusion you show why your project matter along with highlighting that a balanced mix of short, long, and middle ground videos can help youtubers be successful.
What I learned about drafting that will help after college
What I’ve learned about drafting across multiple drafts for the content analysis project is to be patient with the writing process. Errors will inevitably occur, and it’s up to you, as the writer, to identify them and develop better solutions during the revision process. I believe the writing process is particularly effective for me because of the revision process. In the past, I didn’t utilize the writing process for revisions as much as I should have, which prevented me from noticing errors in my projects. However, by using the writing process over the course of multiple weeks working on the assignment, I feel much more confident in my writing skills now.
I fully agree with how creating multiple drafts and revisions can boost your confidence as a writer.

what did you learn about your writing process that will help you after college?
I learned that it is ok to make multiple drafts despite it being more work, I am able to learn from the mistakes. With most writings I don't really make drafts but now, I will try to keep that habit because I want to ensure my papers will be perfect because its a process.

how are you developing style to build your argument in the content analysis? #writ318mu #week13
I am developing style by changing the aesthetic of who I am writing about to match their aesthetic. Since aesthetic is the purpose of my entire project, I thought that adding that theme would help the audience understand better. I am also trying to make myself sound very professional and credible through my words. I want it to sound like a real research paper and less so - like an opinion piece.
The concept of adjusting your style of writing to match the aesthetic of the person you are analyzing is a great idea.

My style of writing has been present in different sections of my content analysis, often less present in the data analysis sections. Each account I have pulled data from focuses on gardening, balancing my own knowledge of credible practices and those posted by accounts has been helpful to my papers tone and arguments. I have been struggling to find a way to transfer this into the latter sections of the analysis but has provided me with more experience.
I like how you’re using your background knowledge to shape your tone and arguments.
How will having a good revision process help you move forward beyond this class?
By having a good revision it will help a lot when it comes to writing the final copy. If my revision is good the final copy will not need as much work or effort in order for it to be the best it can, making it much easier for me in the end. Additionally, by having a good revision I can add more new things in the final copy without much extra effort.
It is very relatable for me. Having a better revision procedure will make it much easier for me to work on the final draft of my content analysis
