I wont lie to myself and say that this is a good show BUT THESE TWO
They deserve something better both from this show and from Warner itself, are you telling me that they created a Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner counterparts that get along and work together as a team and decided to do nothing with them?
Out of all the Loonatics cast they have the most potential ( in MY opinion) and it hurts me how they were treated after the show was a disaster, they deserve their own little thing and I want to share my idea.
Just walk with me, a Mad Max inspired world where instead of killing each other like it is expected for their species and history, Tech and Rev have to work together in order to survive and fight bad guys in the desert. Make the futuristic aspect worth something by making an almost apocalyptic atmosphere with advanced technology devices and great visuals.
A vast desert that is suffering the consequences of the Acme Corporation's global expansion, to the point of founding its own city, Acmetropolis. The city's waste reaches the nearby desert and is used by its few inhabitants to create weapons.
Tech, a super genius like Wile E., makes a living creating inventions from Acme's waste, selling his creations to criminal gangs and bounty hunters. Unlike his counterpart, he hates Acme with all his heart but has resigned himself to living under their rule.
Rev is an incredibly fast but oblivious Roadrunner who gained himself some enemies because of his quick thinking, hyperactivity and talkative nature, wich isnt always well recieved in such a harsh place. To further capitalize on the technological aspect, his legs are high-tech prosthetics with a notoriously high monetary value that also causes him to attract the attention of the wrong people. He's constantly on the run, but loves the action and adrenaline rush of running down the road.
Rev's prosthetics need constant repair, and Tech needs someone to get him materials in the most dangerous places in the desert (those places that criminal gangs have claimed as their territory and don't allow anyone to pass), forming an alliance that benefits them both.
Their personalities and relationship are almost the same as in the show; they bump heads frequently and argue constantly, but they respect each other's abilities and help one another (which is necessary since Rev has a physical disability and of course won't have his prosthetics on all the time). Rev, being just as talkative as in the series, sometimes tests Tech's patience, and he also disagrees with Tech's pessimistic outlook, but over time they learn a lot from each other and form a genuine bond of affection.
Tech teaches Rev to understand the seriousness of the situation and the world, and Rev teaches Tech to have a more hopeful view of things and to understand how taking action CAN lead to change.
ALSO MY FAV PART, since Rev in the show comes from a wealthy family, so does in this version (hence why his prosthetics are so fancy). He is the son of Acmetropolis mayor but keeps it a secret from everyone, especially Tech, who has been trashed down all his life by the ones in power and hates ACME and everyone in the corporation. I just love drama.
I just really wanted to share my vision, I daydream about this to much. Does anyone vibe with this? I'd like to further develop it.
