What is Tech and Mallory’s relationship in your story? How does Rev feel about it?
Tech and Mal used to date, being professors at ACME University. They looked like the perfect couple but behind open doors the latter was jealous over the former got all the attention. Tech was passive and often let Mallory speak over him. Not to mention the seemingly passive-aggressive remarks Mallory spoke at the expense of coyotes that she claimed was all in good jest. But after the incident they broke up. Mallory blamed Tech for her rapid hair loss and injuries. So for months he was alone until he was recruited into the tics.
Rev knows about them; he isn't upset that Tech had a past lover at all but the past lover was toxic and Tech had to deal with someone like her bc he thought by staying he could help her with her issues. But since Mallory makes all the bad decisions without remorse, Tech realizes some folks don't want to be saved and Rev helps him process that it is NOT his fault.
