A blog dedicated to Songs in the Key of Jay Sharp. This blog is a showcase of both my acoustic works- (began at home as a hobby when I was 19 and then publicly released works in 2009) and my work as a producer. Ethan Donway + Huston Shcarr have both allowed me the opportunity to produce records for them and It's been a thrill to get to wear the producer hat for others. Most of the acoustic tracks I performed on my "Songs in the Key of Jay Sharp" EP series were completed during the six weeks I spent with Seth @ his house in South Hadley, MA. (From sept 09- oct 09) I returned for a final week in January 2010. All of my musical gear and belongings were then moved into my current home in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. I currently live with an American bulldog named Brutus and a pitbull named Fanny. the "Songs in the Key of Jay Sharp" Series are my first all-acoustic outings. Thanks for the fabulous few who not only showed up on a monday night but seemed like they actually enjoyed watching me play. I had a ball. I don’t think my voice ever sounded better and I really look forward to bringing these songs to a larger audience . Thank You!
