“I am, and always will be, the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams.“
Life's battles don't always go to the faster or stronger man. Sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.
I am. I am, I exist, I think, therefore I am; I am because I think, why do I think? I don’t want to think any more, I am because I think that I don’t want to be, I think that I … because … ugh!
Jean-Paul Sartre, Nausea (via nauseadaily)
If the red slayer think he slays, Or if the slain think he is slain, They know not well the subtle ways I keep, and pass, and turn again. Far or forgot to me is near; Shadow and sunlight are the same; The vanished gods to me appear; And one to me are shame and fame. They reckon ill who leave me out; When me they fly, I am the wings; I am the doubter and the doubt, I am the hymn the Brahmin sings. The strong gods pine for my abode, And pine in vain the sacred Seven; But thou, meek lover of the good! Find me, and turn thy back on heaven.
Brahma by Ralph Waldo Emerson
You cannot live life with just money in your pockets. You live life with hope in your heart and dreams in your head

Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand like stone,
Kindness in another's trouble,
Courage in your own.
- Adam Lindsay Gordon
The best is yet to come
With doubt and dismay you are smitten You think there’s no chance for you, son? Why, the best books haven’t been written The best race hasn’t been run, The best score hasn’t been made yet, The best song hasn’t been sung, The best tune hasn’t been played yet, Cheer up, for the world is young!
Don’t worry and fret, faint hearted, The chances have just begun, For the Best jobs haven’t been started, The Best work hasn’t been done.
Good Bye Letter
I quit my job last week. Below is the letter I wrote to my fellow colleagues.
Dear All,
As I write this letter, I can't stress enough on how grateful I am to have worked with you all. My journey with Compareraja has been nothing short of a dream run. Why? Because I love product management, I love making new things happen, and also because this place is less rigid in nature (Which is good for innovation). But more importantly it was, and is, my firm belief that life is a game where the more work you do, the more is the fun. And product management allowed me to do exactly that, playing in the field and handling multiple things. From design, to development. Marketing, to finance. Paid, to organic. And from stratagem, to implementation.
I've learnt a lot here, and all of this couldn't have been possible without any of you. Thank you for teaching me, and helping me whenever I got stuck.
For those of you who don't know, I'm gonna be joining my family business and ultimately work towards my goal of total world domination :P
As I leave, I want to share with you one thought that never fails to inspire me to work harder. I hope this inspires you too.
"The secret of happiness lies in doing great work."
I wish Compareraja, Couponraja, & whole of Logicserve a lot of success. Thank you all.
Signing off, Yours truly, Jay Gudhka Jr. Product Manager - Compareraja.in
Be careful which path you travel down, Strange. Stronger men than you have lost their way.
- Doctor Strange
“The serum amplifies everything that is inside. So, good becomes great. Bad becomes worse. This is why you were chosen. Because a strong man, who has known power all his life, will lose respect for that power. But a weak man knows the value of strength, and knows compassion. Whatever happens tomorrow, you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.”
-Abraham Erskine in Captain America: The First Avenger
In the end, it's extra effort that separates a winner from second place. But winning takes a lot more that that, too. It starts with complete command of the fundamentals. Then it takes desire, determination, discipline, and self-sacrifice. And finally, it takes a great deal of love, fairness and respect for your fellow man. Put all these together, and even if you don't win, how can you lose?
Jesse Owens [Four time Olympic gold medallist]
Time to begin
Now is as Good a Time as Any.
I've been collecting quotes, poems, and articles since I was 13. Now I'm 22. Often I get good ideas, strange revelations and striking epiphanies. But as lazy as I am, I never write them down.
Lately, I started wanting to share these insights of mine, and my collection of awesome quotes, videos, articles with the hope that they inspire people, because they, well, inspired me. This led me to start hunting for a platform where I could share anything under the sun. And here I am, on Tumblr. Maybe I should've started this earlier, but the time that's gone is gone. And now is as good a time as any.

Claude Ledoux’s Spherical house: 1789-1806 via Retronaut
“Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1736–1806) was an architect whose greatest works were funded by the French monarchy and came to be perceived as symbols of the Ancien Régime rather than Utopia. The French Revolution hampered his career; much of his work was destroyed in the nineteenth century.”
