Chicken teriyaki crepe! I confess that I'm a Chinatown hoodrat always creeping around to see what's new so that I can eat my way through the block. When the place I originally wanted to order from was closing I decided to find something else and this was waiting for me. Lactose Intolerant

That is what has become of me. How and why World?! I've given up dairy since January. Still learning my way around it. Just yesterday I got mashed potatoes with my lunch. After I paid and was walking away it occurred to me that I forgot to ask how they prepare it. I decided to eat it anyway. Well... my stomach was making all sorts of noise afterwards for the rest of the day. Yup, they definitely put milk, cream or butter- maybe all 3. I told my grandmother and she said: "ya que estás de vieja"? Translation: now that you're old?

Been on a roll... Get it? (maybe I'm the only person that found that slightly amusing) Tried my hand at fresh spring rolls so here's dinner yesterday and today. The shrimp side is pretty basic. The other is a ginger soy beef, lettuce, carrots, avocado and caramelized onion mix. Booyah! To my Viet restaurant that closed until next month....I'll see you guys then ;-)

Isn't this gorgeous? I like big buns ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've had a recipe saved in my phone for a few months and finally decided to try it out. While the outcome was beautiful, the loaf was dense. It wasn't the light, fluffy texture I anticipated. I think I know what may have gone wrong. I'll rework this recipe and hopefully the second time will be a win.

Half-assed attempt at cookies. Didn't really want to but bought the cutter last year with intentions of using it this year. Not terribly bad considering I didn't use a piping bag. Thanks Wilton pre-made cookie frosting conveniently packaged into bottles.

Picco 513 Tremont St Boston Go...Now. I can't remember if I've posted about this place in the past but it was my second time here. It's as good as I remembered. The pizza is perfectly charred and the crust- JUST LOOK! It's a ciabatta bread thin enough to act like pizza dough, strong enough to hold its shape (no sogginess here) and deliciously chewy. The above pictured is a small and will run you $12 something. It'll be worth your coins.

My sister has a point. How do I always have an event to go to? Who are you people and why do I always get invited to your functions?

Momogoose Boston Food Truck No. Just, no. If I wanted this much sauce on my food I would've preferred to just stick a straw directly into a jar of Thai peanut sauce and take a swig. There was white rice under that slop. By the time I dug through, you wouldn't have known. It acted like a towel and absorbed that mess. I mean, come on! There's smothered, slathered, coated but drowned? That's just wrong.

Santouka Cambridge, MA This was my 2nd time having Ramen and it just so happened to be with the very same people I originally tried it with. Spur of the moment. Good times ::slurps happily::

Shredded fingers are what happens when your grandmother insists the bananas have to be hand grated. So much for that manicure.

Nothing says "Boss Day" like a sweet reminder of what you deal with on a regular. Seeing as how this cookie did not make it to work in one piece, I told my boss hopefully her day wouldn't be as "crumby". Ba-dum Bing.

220 Dorchester Ave, South Boston Apple-cinnamon doughnut... A yeasted donut filled with apples and covered in cinnamon. How I'm supposed to stop acting crazy? How? How?! How I'm gon' stop?
