the opening sequence of tua season 2 was better than the entirety of season 4

I think the general consensus is that tua season 4 was pretty bad. Like they usually make weird plot choices in every season but in this season, it was all the choices lmao. I will say that I did think that ending with them all dying made sense, it’s just how they got there was like terribly constructed. They should have just focused, or at least put a heavier focus, on the Ben and Jenifer plot line. The rest of it just didn’t need to be there. It did not contribute to the bigger picture. Like, i felt like I was just waiting and waiting and waiting for the Klaus arc to actually effect the main plot, but it ended up just being just a Klaus thing. Like If we took that plot away, would it have effected the main storyline? That shit took up so much of the runtime and for what????????? Putting in filler plot when there’s only 6 episodes is so strange to me???????? Should have used that time for like five more dance sequences fr fr

im telling you the emotional whiplash of Ted giving Beard a life lesson while showing goofy ass footage of Nate failing to escape the office not once, not twice, but three times is unmatched

point being: ma’am went through an entire character arc in one episode and it shows.

Really bums me out that people will still think Nate is undeserving of a redemption arc even after s3 ep10. In this episode especially he has shown himself to be one of the most relatable characters in the show. There’s a pressure for children of immigrant parents to take advantage of the privileges that their parents have worked so hard to get them and that pressure ultimately broke Nate. Nate is so many of us watching, including me.

Summary:

A series of pivotal moments in Colin’s journey into becoming a strong and capable man. 

The rising sun peers through sheer curtains and into the quiet bedroom where bare bodies hide under comfortable sheets. The mattress Colin lies on is softer than his own. He feels himself sinking deeper and deeper, and he fears the repercussions if he attempts to escape from bed...

So he stays there for a while, lying on his chest, inhaling the citrus detergent imprinted on the plaid pillow case that reminds him of Holiday wrapping paper. His gaze aligns with the digital clock sitting on the bedside table that tells him he’ll be late for training, but his brain doesn’t catch up with that fact as his eyes become heavier.

He’s inspired to get up seconds later when the body beside him stirs.

It’s a long way to Richmond. Colin leaves at four in the morning and makes it to the locker room twenty minutes late. No one notices him come in except Isaac whose sharp eyes have only gotten sharper ever since he was promoted to team captain. What usually comes next is a demand for a hundred extra laps around the field, but Isaac gets sidetracked. He gives Colin a once-over. Then appears that Cheshire smirks.

“Haven’t gotten to laundry day, have you?” He gestures to Colin’s attire; a camouflage jacket, and navy blue jeans with a black shirt to go along with it. He had worn the exact thing the day before.

“Guess not,” is Colin’s brief reply. He starts changing into his kit.

“Come on. Out with it. Who’s the lucky girl?” Isaac nudges and he’s loud enough for the new guy to hear. It’s only been a week and Jan has proven himself to be a walking lie detector, so Colin keeps his answer vague. He says, “wouldn't you like to know,” followed by, “It was just a one-time thing anyway. Nothing to write home about.”

That seems to pass Jan’s test and why wouldn’t it? Colin isn’t lying. Sleeping with Nico was definitely a one-time thing and it is absolutely not something he’d disclose with his family back home.
