It's the Peoples' House. He's renting it from us.
Make him pay to fix it back once he's gone. Or, when he's dead. His estate can certainly afford it.
He's definitely not getting his deposite back

Angus McBride's 1966 "Legendary Beasts" series ran in the backs of the weekly magazine Finding Out. Daisy at Beautiful Books has collected all 36 of them over here - this is just half of them!

I have a folder of these on my phone... I'm not sure what that says about me!
Forgive the Axios posting, but:
The "anti-war" candidate has bombed seven countries and launched a new regime-change war in Iran.
When you actually click on the article, the title is different and more damning:
It needs to be said again and again: the reason why you see the usual suspects screaming online, lying about Democrats, and blaming them for a Republican president unilaterally starting a war with zero plan and a Republican Congress refusing to stop him is because they know we all remember that they spent 2024 screaming that they would refuse to vote for Democrats because they were sooooo “anti-war.” They know this wouldn't have happened under Kamala Harris and it quite literally did not happen under Biden, and that's why they're desperately lying about that and trying to save face. Their actions only become acceptable in an alternate universe.
It’s coping and sunk cost fallacy all the way down. They only care about their bullshit ideology, not any of the people in foreign countries they use as props to justify sitting on their ass every election cycle. But this is what happens when you decide to be a single issue (non) voter and loudly and repeatedly declare that you will do nothing to stop the guy who was so obviously the worst possible choice for that issue 🤷♀️ People tend to remember that and point out the consequences of your actions and idiocy. Oh well.
War is SUCH an unpopular issue with voters it makes you wonder why on earth Trump would pull that trigger? Surely it's not the dozens of scandals at home, including Pedophile Island, right? Right??
The last time we had a furiously unpopular Republican dumbass president he pulled the same shit.
People forget that prior to 9/11, W Bush was regarded as an ineffective laughingstock, creeping up on impeachment. A mentally incurious manchild who spent 75% of his time at home, away from the White House, fucking around on his ranch and on golf courses. Seriously. Remind you of anyone?
Then 'somebody' destroyed the World Trade Center and America proceeded to kick the world's ass in retaliation for the perceived injustice.
This time around they decided to skip all the justification and start bombing civilians. Incredible.
It's like you can't trust a single word Trump says.
What surprises me is that this surprises anyone at this point.

it's finally that time of the year again for the clinically depressed newscaster describing february with disco elysium music
I’ve seen the shortened version of Cab Calloway’s St James Infirmary Blues from the Betty Boop Snow White 1933 cartoon on Tumblr a few times, thought you’d all like the full version.
it’s easy to forget that 30’s animation really is just like that,

"Too handsome, too young, too liberal, doesn't have a chance. He's perfect!"
Stop reinventing the wheel. The web was doing just fine before your bloated frameworks crawled out of the sewer.
Just fucking use HTML instead of whatever bullshit framework currently being hyped. And while we're at it, use a text editor instead of whatever fat bloated GUI tool you think you need.

CBS announced it will end 'The Late Show' with Stephen Colbert in May 2026 after a decade-long run, citing financial challenges at the netwo
well, shit
Huh. A few days after he roasted the parent company for giving Trump $16 million bucks. Sure. Purely a financial decision, canning your most popular host & highest rated show in its segment. Seriously, his is the only late night property to gain viewers this year.
I'm not worried about Colbert, as he's a talented guy and will land on his feet. And from now until his 'retirement' he's free to say whatever the fuck he wants without repercussion. What're they gonna do? Fire him?
Should be fun.
CBS, shooting itself in the foot to make Trump happy, probably not realizing that for many of us the Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the only thing CBS produces that we find worth watching.
