OPM S2 Ending theme translation

Chizu ga nakutemo modoru kara (I'll come back, even without a map)

I couldn't find a full version of this song translated around, so I did it myself. It's of course not a 100% word by word thing, if you do that and all proper order etc you basically kill the feel of any song. This is, at least, my approach to it.

A study on Genos' anatomy (torso for now)

I tried giving some of the plating ("abs") a bit of a mesh texture along with the one between the side plates, tried to picture how things would move so the mesh on the sides is extra flexible and the abs are softer than the plate but harder than the mesh. The side plates are rigid, same as the main chest ones (pecs). Followed tendons to make pistons and elastic parts. Used a muscle anatomy reference sheet to picture how everything would move and translate it into components.

We got some good ole eggs and a take on King using Henry Cavill as reference cause somehow I imagine King having that kind of face if I think of him in a more realistic sort of concept.

So, been forever since I posted anything here, and technically it's not a OPM only art blog but since I'm back full on in the opm gutter again, here's what I've been doodling lately. Most of these come from small propmts or concepts we came up with on the Discord channel.
