Hii!! Have you guys seen the Gif showing some preview of the prompts for Jearmin week??
So I did a little one shot for it!! Go try the gif out, it's really fun!
But for now, enjoy the work!
Cold water offered relief to overworked, tense muscle. The un-official pool the scouts had taken over was a small lake a few meters away from base, small, shallow and untouched by anything other than the wildlife living outside the walls. All of them had designated that it was the perfect spot to wash up after a day of work. But always at reasonable hours.
Armin, however, had found a rocky area to sit in while everybody else was asleep. The water reached his chest and it helped his sore body relax. The titan powers only could heal him so much before he felt tired.
He dipped his head just above his nose and let out air through his mouth, making bubbles with his sigh. Once opoun a life, that action would make him laugh. One of those weird remanents of himself he clung to and now didn't seemed to belong to him anymore.
Problems curled over themselves, twisting into bigger ones and then taking swift turns that were about to send him into madness. He couldn't make his brain shut up, he couldn't make his worries keep quiet. The lake was pristine like a silver mirror, clear and beautiful; the moon reflected on it giving him some light to see past his own nose and the canopy of summer trees around the area were sure to ease anyones thoughts. If something like this could exist, everything had to be okay. Everything would be okay.
And yet he felt that he was contaminating it just by sitting there and nothing inside his skull was slowing down.
While his thoughts wouldn't stop he seemed dazed. He never noticed the footsteps or the russtle of clothes. He only heard the quiet disturbance in the water of someone stepping on the edge of the lake.
Armin didn't said anything. Because they never did in this kinds of situations.
He didn't do anything either. Because he never did.
Jean simply aproached him, sitting closer than what's normal and being friendlier than he should. Friendlier than Armin should allow if they were to only remain as friends.
Neither of them awknoleged what was going on and he wasn't sure exactly when it started. It had been going on for so long that he never noticed that it 'began' in the first place.
Armin stayed quiet and eager as Jean sat by his side. Legs fully smushed together and sides touching.
He gently passed his wet fingers over Armin's shoulder, leaving droplets to fall down Armin's skin; his rough fingertips pressing on the flesh. It was slow and methodic, Armin knew that Jean would stop and leave if he didn't react to this touch; it was the invitation and it could be denied.
And he wasn't going to start today.
He basically jumped on top of Jean. Water splashing wildly around them as Armin took Jeans mouth in a desperate attempt to shut down his brain.
Fortunetly for him, Jean Kirshtein had the hidden ability to shut down any neurological activity with a single kiss. Thoughts of the hatred of the world were padded out with kisses, any worry about the destructive capabilities of his titan would be brushed aside by callused fingers grabbing his ribs, the future seemed more certain; if only for a minute when he was in his arms.
He was sure neither of them knew what to do with the bubbling feelings they had. Not when acting on them was inviting tragedy and problems just kept spiraling and growing thrice the amount of heads they managed to cut. Love seemed to have no place in a world that just kept getting bigger; bigger and scarier. But Armin at least was sure of one thing.
Having his hip held by Jean's strong hands as they kissed, nude underwater helped. And it helped a lot.
