Hi :) I'm in the process of applying for the RP. I was wondering though if there could possibly be an elective added for Drama/Acting classes? I thought that would be a good fit for my character rather than any other subject or making him a student. I just wanted to see if that was an option possibly. I think that might be a fun elective students might be interested in. :) Thanks!
Hmm...This sounds like it would be good. I originally had it so that Drama would be an extra curricular activity, but hey if there's a golf class (I'm not kidding there really is) in the drama, then why not have a Drama class?
—Lee Chaerin, otherwise known as Sky, is a seventeen year old female and is in her Junior year at Jeguk High. She is classified under the New Money social circle and is currently participating as part of the Soccer, Taekwondo, and Dance Teams.

Personality
Chaerin is a rather peculiar girl with unusual interests. She can be quite rough on the first meeting and might give of a bad impression since she rarely talks in a pleasant tone, but once you get to know her, she could be quite nice and refreshing as well. However, she can be stubborn especially within campus rules. She believes that she has the right to do what she desires and is not afraid to speak her mind even. She’s blunt with her choice of words and is straight to the point and does not like lingering on one topic or dragging the conversation too long. She has hidden interests in arts and aspires to be an artist one day although she is known as a female jock, considering that her father is a retired but known soccer player.
She is a very precious child, other than having a brave heart, despite her stubbornness and rudeness, she can differentiate the right and the wrong and would defend another in need, even if she is the type of person who can’t stand people that are emotionally weak, even though deep inside she is as well. She likes being strong, or at least she likes pretending to be strong. She doesn’t have a variety of friends other than her soccer teammates, in belief that she is socially awkward. She is a very innocent and fragile girl when it comes to emotions and feelings due to her upbringing into sports. Academically, she is student who can maintain high marks and does not laze off and seems to be friends with Mathematics. She is often found looking through textbooks, reviewing lessons she had missed due to soccer practice, and maybe writing notes which seem to be lyrics.
Bio
Lee Chaerin is a simple girl who grew up as Sky overseas with her father. She grew up interested in sports, since her father is an athlete. She was daddy’s little princess and MVP as well. She is used to being alone, her father was a star in the world of sports. TV appearances, games, major leagues and much more. She didn’t quite understand why her father was worked up with sports, that is why she engaged in sports herself, wanting her father to at least see her as his daughter and not just some trophy on display. She had almost forgotten her love for arts and music, something her father could not care about even if she was a talented child.
Don’t get me wrong, she loves her father just as much as he does, but Chaerin couldn’t just help but notice how championships, medals and awards were just important as her, perhaps even more relevant to her father. Eventually, her father had quit the whole athlete gig to live with her in Seoul, South Korea. Incredibly, he had find a new light under medicine and is now known as a famous doctor. After her mother died, her father had become much more appreciative of Chaerin’s efforts and is now her mentor and personal coach. Winning over different schools and leagues, she gained a scholarship in Jeguk High during her freshman year and is now a junior student at the age of seventeen.
— Park Hyungsik, otherwise known as Myungsoo, is an eighteen year old male and is in his Junior year at Jeguk High. He is classified under the New Money social circle and is currently participating in the School Newspaper, Basketball and Student Council.

Personality
With a cup of wacky and another cup of joy, you have Hyungsik. He’s not the quiet or shy type; always bugging into other people’s business and trying to entertain himself— he comes off as quite friendly and easy to approach. His ears are yours when you need someone to listen to but don’t forget, you’ll get a little stupidity within his comments. He’s a great guy, and quite the popular one too. He doesn’t like to still to just one hierarchy; he’s got the connections to everyone and he takes advantage to that. Though, that’s only one side to the boy—
Acquainted with his parents, the confident and happy Hyungsik turns dark and dour. Business is the key to all of that; his father had now started off with amazing lawyer businesses while his mother started off her acting career in America— he couldn’t screw up all that, not now, not ever.
Bio
When he was five, Hyungsik asked his parents what they did in life. His mother answered with silence while his father replied with a smile. It wasn’t until he was ten that he truly understood what those signs meant. The silence of his mother was the key to acting. Silence in the wind was just like ripples in the water— they were powerful, symbolizing calmness and peace, however, silence from his mother was the dedication, passion and patience of her acting career, the career in which Hyungsik now knew about. As for the smile from his father, the smile oh so bright and hearty, symbolized his love for his job. The law field wasn’t easy, but figuring things out, Hyungsik knew that the hardest and most complicated things in life were his father’s favorite.
By the time he was fourteen, his father’s dream of founding multiple buildings for his lawyer career came true. As for his mother, she flew out, with the permission of him and his father, to America to pursue her acting career. She had recently been offered a spot on a television show in New York and with the love and support, she signed the contract and has now been living in America for a couple of years.
Hyungsik, now eighteen and attending Jeguk High, has been living by himself in his own studio and dorm. Bought and decorated by himself, he filled each and every room with pictures of friends, family and nature itself. He had a gift for photography rather than defending someone with evidence or putting on make-up for hours just to shoot a thirty-minute television episode. Someday, he hopes to fly out to America with his father and camera, taking memorable photos of his mother at work, and his family sitting together in Times Square drinking hot coffee.
—Gong Chanshik, otherwise known as Channie, is a sixteen year old male and is in his sophomore year at Jeguk High. He is classified under the Social Care Group social circle and is currently participating as part of the School Newspaper and Gay Straight Alliance.

Personality
Perpetually lazy, just as he is seemingly frail, Gong Chanshik spends most of his time sleeping, when he is not doing homework or dabbling in his life’s passion, writing. Though most people expect the tall, lithe male to break like porcelain, as they hurl insults or punches his way, they are always surprised to find that he actually has a rather strong backbone, due to years of being bullied for whatever illogical reason bullies tend to come up with. His fists have no strength behind them (the one time Chanshik thought to fight back, he broke two knuckles and spent a night being nagged by his mother in the hospital), but the words he spits out are purely coated in venom, unafraid of the damage they might cause their target.
In a sense, the boy considers himself rather a lost cause, and does not believe that he has much to offer mankind, despite the fact that his writing has won many contests over the few years that he’s existed. Not to mention the fact that his test scores always fall within the top five in the nation, but it’s something he’s never cared about and continuously chalks up to sheer dumb luck. A human like Gong Chanshik can only find beauty in the darkness, his poems constantly littered with phrases about sadness and being stuck, not only in a place where escape seems more delicious than the sweetest candy, but also in one’s mind, possibly the darkest corner a person can become on friendly terms with. These are but mere secrets the brunette keeps locked away though, not allowing anyone within the realms of the school to read his work or to even become close to him. There are many things that Chanshik considers himself having no use for, and friends, true friends (the kind who know what you’re going to say, before you open your mouth and can tell how you feel with just the blink of an eye), surely tops the list.
Bio
From the moment a dark-haired child was born, to the present moment of breathing during the long hours at Jeguk High, Chanshik and his family have been poor. But they taught him from a very early age that love was all you needed, and as his parents were of the very obvious soul mate types, the singular heir to the Gong parents could only believe it to be true. When he turned five, the highly imaginative child discovered the love his creators spoke of, though not within another human, but within the pages of a book (also, this was the year he took a tumble from a tree, scraping the top of his left eyelid, which left a scar and caused the boy to develop an rather intense adoration for staying inside). Pictures and words danced upon sheets of paper, making his large saucer eyes dazzle in delight. As soon as the youth learned to write, he filled notebooks with stories of princes, superheroes and even monsters.
It didn’t take very long for the young male’s talents to be noticed. Stephen King once even wrote Chanshik a letter, admiring the boy’s skills, which he keeps forever framed on his wall, being as the master of horror and suspense is his all-time favorite author and source of inspiration. Earnings from writing contests and having stories printed in various magazines became a third source of income for the family and scholarships rolled in from every direction, urgent to have the sure to be famous writer come to their school. But of course, the Gongs only wanted what was best for their esteemed child, so naturally they picked the school they thought was most capable of bringing out his already quickly growing talents. No one involved had any idea that things would only become more difficult, as he entered the prestigious school of Jeguk High, because even in the age of adolescents, money meant everything. Chanshik’s parents will never know about the abuse their son faces either, because the boy is quite good at keeping bruises, and scars of the emotional kind, hidden.
Writing Sample: Somehow, if Chanshik were able to hear the muttered words that twirled past his date’s perky, light pink lips, the answer would obviously be ‘Yes’. Without hesitation or worry. Deep down inside the boy’s mind and soul, past the point of no return, past the point, where even the owner of said items had no idea what it meant, foreign thoughts and needs abound, you would be able to find a single image. One, where Chanshik belonged to Jinyoung. It would take time for this information to reach the unknowing, naive author wannabe, in spite of his high levels of intelligence, possibly too much time, for it to make much of a difference. But this evening had thrown gasoline on the slow burn that grew within him, from the moment Jinyoung came into his life, asking for doughy cookies ever so sweetly. A growing flame that could not, would not, be easily put out, whether he wanted to, or not.
The other’s words reached Chanshik’s ears and infiltrated his brain, leaving the deepest possible impression. All his life, the nerd had been criticized by his family, the people who were supposed to love him the most, by his classmates, whom he wanted nothing from but their hand in friendship, told that he needed to change, that he was simply not good enough. Even now, at Jeguk, where the male had tasted the edges of happiness for the first time, masses still found him strange, for a number of reasons and cast him away to the sidelines. But a handful of students — no, they were more like angels — who could look past shallow exteriors and see the beauty within, told Chanshik continuously, that he was fine the way he was, that he was wanted and needed. Too affected by the past wounds that dotted his skin, he’d just shake his head in response, unable to believe that anything about him, besides his genius, could ever be something worthwhile. Hearing such wonder-laced observations from Jinyoung, it was exactly what he needed, and though he still didn’t fully believe it, Chanshik began to grasp the idea, that maybe there nothing wrong with him at all. His date had successfully pulled out a brick, from the tower of doubt, that had been building and growing, since day one.

Sure! Though...Do keep in mind that the roleplay is set in Korea, and therefore American Football wouldn't be as popular of a sport as soccer would be.

It is based solely on the drama. The terms old and new money aren't used exclusively in the drama, but they were brought about by the need to separate the social classes of the rich. It's a bit tricky to explain, dear anon. But for a bit more clarification, feel free to check here for a little more information about the term "old money"
