Hey! I love your art. I saw the one with the snuggling and the text message from Price yesterday or the day before I think. I don't normally interact with people on Tumblr lol, but I was reading a fanfic and there was a scene in there that was super familiar and sure enough it was verbatim the dialogue from the panels of your art. So I wasn't sure if it was your fic or if you'd gotten credit or were aware at all, but I wanted to let you know. The fic was published today (3/7).

I had no awareness of this before I read your message so I appreciate the concern!

Generally, I have nothing against anyone taking inspiration from my stuff but I would prefer if it was linked directly at the top if it's taken so directly like it was in this case. I don't own tropes - you can absolutely write a similar scenario - but please don't lift dialogue/entire scenes directly without explicitly and clearly stating upfront that that's what you did.

I saw that the author of that fic added inspiration credit at the bottom after a comment mentioned me so it's good to see that that's there now. But just for any future reference - if you're lifting that directly, it kind of calls for a citation.
