I was thinking about the stim vs just makes me happy thing from a while ago when you where thinking about being called a stim blog and i think by the definition of stim it is to make you happy, calm or focused and that even if it is not the conventional i need to touch stuff stim it can still be a visual stim like asmr( though often dorky) is a good auditory stim i would like to hear what you think about it though

yeah i get what you mean and i think for a lot of people it is like that!! its just i get a very different feeling from fiddling with my tangle and other stuff like that and my harmful stims and even the stuff i do stim from on here moves or looks a specific way 

so i like the way those nail varnish mixing vids look and rly enjoy them but i stim from clear slime and the texture of it and when its squeezed and poked and has stuff in it!

i watch asmr vids too and i guess the same thing applies bc tapping on a box is nice but its nothing compared to visually and auditory stimming from asmr water beads vids

if ppl follow me for the reason of stimming from this stuff then im fine with them calling this a stim blog completely i just think its a bit inaccurate to say ‘this is my stim blog’ from my pov because that isnt what i made it for or what i use it for!
