Hi I am yet another person on Tumblr that likes fictional characters enough to make a blog dedicated to them. This blog is very self indulgent but I always try to give back to the community so I might post prompts/imagines every now and then.

Imagine you and your f/o(s) play Smash Bros. together. Doesn’t matter which version. Who would be the best at it, who would rage quit and what characters would you all/both pick?
I like to imagine that imposter Green had to pretend to be Denim’s friend to keep up the “normal” facade, but then they fall in love with them just like crewmate Green did and now they can’t bring themselves to kill Denim 😭
Also Green and Orange start beefing since Orange doesn’t know/care about this and is just trying to do their job

Finally caved and made an among us sona for selfshipping purposes
Their name is Denim and their nickname is Denny/Dennis. They have a major in biology and a minor in computer science. Intrests include their work, art, horror and astronomy. They/it nonbinary and aroace.
They were put on the Skeld about 2 days before Green and White to see if growing plants/sustaining life is possible in space as well as keeping up software maintenance. Anti-capitalist that hates working for MIRA since they didn’t have any other options.

Since they usually stay up late programming, and also have insomnia, them and Purple have gotten close by hanging out in security while everyone else is asleep. They usually nod off beside Purple and they have to wake them up and tell them to go to bed.
Denim is aware of Heracles and helps Purple take care of them since they also have fish at home. Willing to take the blame for the no pet-mates rule by using the fact that they were attempting to sustain life on board as an excuse. Purple appreciates this a lot.
Their work usually doesn’t take up most of their day, so Denim volunteers to do extra around the Skeld. Ever since Green was hired they usually help them clean and organise everything. They are sympathetic to the fact that they’re unpaid, so sometimes they’ll put in more effort than normal.
Recently Denim and Green have bonded over a mutual interest in worms (and other insects), both sharing information back and forth, and also sharing stories of working with/studying them. Denim is very interested in Greens home life.
Apart from Purple, Green and Black (although they talk sparingly), Denim is usually isolated in O2 or Communications and therefore doesn’t interact with the rest of the crewmates as much. That hasn’t stopped everyone from forming opinions about eachother, however.

The most helpful remembers is that you both were talking at one of the parties he went to, but he forgot the conversation after getting black out drunk... he didn't forget you, though. So, now you've got him following you around because he's grown curious about you and neither of you can tell why.
🍸 Wilford is almost like an abnormal constant in your life, now. Like, he's constantly there and you see him once a day, but how, where and why doesn't stay consistent. He just sort of... shows up when he wants to and where. You could be completely alone in your house, then he's suddenly walking into the room through your bedroom door despite you knowing he wasn't in there because you checked just two seconds ago-
💖 Wilford is very, very insistent on the idea of interviewing you. There's actually a few reasons for this. For one, he wants his audience to know about you. Almost as a way of subconsciously showing you off and going (Look at them! Aren't they amazing? Hey, don't look too closely, because they'll be mine soon-"! Then there's the mere fact that interviews are meant to get to know the person being interviewed. He wants to know everything there is to know about you. He'll even have you write down all your answers in a little notebook, so that he can make sure he always remembers your answers and exactly how you worded them. If he forgets, he can always just look back at what you wrote.
🍸 When he gets you on his little show, you bet that he can't stop looking at you. He's enamored, head over heels in love, and cannot hide it to save his life. The sound of your voice, even if you sound a bit unsettled by the way he's staring, is like music to his ears. He also adores every single gesture and movement you make during the interview. This is probably the quietest he's ever been on his show, to be honest, because he's actually interested in what you have to say. That's more than he can say for most people on his show. They usually get boring after the first few questions...
💖 Wilford often spends his time away from you tossing around little fantasies in his mind. You and him dancing together, you and him going to parties... Just having mindless fun. He can't see himself settling down for long, since he has so many places and times he wants to be, but he'd enjoy a relaxed, maybe even domestic day at your home as a break from the constant adventure. Not for long, though. Never for long.
🍸 I can see him still having some slight paranoia. He's all about good fun and going along with the chaos, but sometimes that creeping suspicion kicks in. Which then causes a lot of problems for those around you. Wilford would never suspect you of doing anything wrong. Yet, that friend of yours? Oh, he doesn't like them. Are you sure they are safe to be around? What if they are planning something? What if they're going to betray you? Hurt you? Take you from him? Don't worry. Wilford is going to take care of them for you. If you're unsettled by this? Well, nothing fixes a problem like a good apology!
💖 What can get you to return his love? Just tell him. He'll get you anything you want, take you anywhere you want to go, and he'll be there any time you need him. Do you want chocolates? He'll go out and buy you the biggest box he can find, then present you with his gift in the most cliche, lovey-dovey manner! You want him to take you to the movies? i've always seen tons of jealous romantic fictional character things where the character is mad at YOU for the attention you attract from others and honestly unless it's part of the whimsy and fun of teasing, the s/i SHOULDN'T be blamed for how other people act when they don't know or (even do know) that you're taken. like unless you want your f/o to take you home and "show you who you belong to", it's just kinda startling to see.
so please! do imagine that you have a jealous romantic f/o that isn't harshly possessive, but quietly nervous/irritated to see someone fawn over you in front of them. they might try to hold you closer or give a kiss to show others, but when you guys arrive home, they act as if they're trying to win you back... they ask you constantly for if you need any help with chores, something to eat, or even just help relaxing! they treat you so gently and check to make sure they're not doing anything to startle you or make you uncomfortable, working immediately to keep you content, almost like a little secretary!
this is when your f/o finally spills that they're nervous to lose you. the thought of you losing feelings for them, being attracted to someone else, and leaving them scares them so deeply. they never want you to grow tired of them and find someone else, and even just being flattered by strangers plays with that idea. they need to hear that you'll choose them. they need to remember that they aren't replaceable in your heart.

PS: Everyone is allowed to selfship in whatever way they want!! For selfshippers that feel like many of the posts you see are unrealistic and don’t reflect you and your F/O’s relationship, here are some honest and nuanced messages.

It holds you gently even when it’s firm, and maintains control without sacrificing honesty. “Your F/O would never think you’re weird.” -> Your F/O LOVES how weird you are!! Your uniqueness is what draws them to you, and sets you apart from the sea of people they could have chosen. Whether or not your quirks get on their nerves sometimes is insignificant; they’re just so happy to have them all memorized.
“Your F/O would never overstep your boundaries!” -> Your F/O watches you and listens to you closely. Even if they’re not perfect, they notice small changes within you and care about you—even if it means adapting to things they’re not used to doing. They intend to keep learning more about you for the rest of their life, and there’s no sign of them ever getting bored. They always repair things with you, and this will never ever change.
“Your F/O would never feel put out by you.” -> You are worth the effort. Every single time. Even when the tasks themselves feel burdensome, you are always worth the effort it takes to help you and take care of you. It is paid back tenfold every time they get to see you joyful and healthy.
