Rn while I wait for a hair appointment I’m reading a book I discovered after listening to one of those murder podcasts a while ago

Apparently a serial killer called the Casanova Killer really liked (he got shot to death by police, L bozo)

It’s called Jonathan Livingston Seagull. It’s not bad, only 99 pages. About a seagull who doesn’t want to be like the rest of their flock who only lives to fight for food and survive. Instead Jonathan (the seagull) reaches for perfection to be the fastest possible Seagull he can, pushing his body to the absolute limits.

They say it’s a philosophical book but I don’t think I see it? I mean outside of the obvious “transcending the mortal world + body” schtick. Maybe it’s because I’m not a philosophical person.

Maybe it’s also one of those books you have to read more than once to understand? I’m already a little more than halfway through with it. I do like it overall. If anyone’s read it before maybe give me your thoughts on the book? 😭

A few minutes / halfway in when I started feeling super nauseous and dizzy: oh… ok it’s got a lil kick.. *the second nurse(?) asking if I was ok / telling me I’m almost done* me: ough *throwback to me telling them they’re trying to kill me*
