However, that's what fandom is for, to present history 100 times better, with respect for it. Instead of insulting artists, it's worth making them aware that they shouldn't touch on certain topics. Some of them may not be doing historical illustrations, but are basing their illustrations on ordinary relations in hetalia, which have often contradicted history (for example Hong Kong and Iceland).

If you are going to do historical criticism, don't do it in a pathetic way. Ask the artists for permission, because if you don't know, not everyone agrees to use their work. If you get permission, approach the criticism with respect for the other person, without calling them idiots. And if you mention historical curiosities, support your thesis with sources, if history is so important to you. I would definitely even support your project
