does anyone ever just think: jemily angst
emily and jj going to therapy together and the therapist thinks that they’re there for couples therapy because they look and seem like a couple but it’s actually just that emily’s there to support her “friend” jj while she goes to therapy because emily wants the best for her and for her to be okay, but she doesn’t want to go alone and she asks for emily to support her and so she goes with her to be there for her… then a realization comes over them and it leads to that conversation
looks like jj wants to hold someone’s hand

jemily looking at each other like that because they in love

who’s going to tell her she’s been looking at her best friend the same way after all these years?
maybe the reason emily never had any real romantic relationships is because she was always just waiting… waiting for jj. waiting for jj to say something, waiting for anything to show her she may eventually get to have the real thing with her… waiting for something to happen between them. she probably wanted love, but she only wanted love with the person she felt the most for. it may have been hard, but she didn’t want anyone else. she wanted only to be with her, so she just waited…
