A Quick Rant about Season 7 of Voltron: Legendary Defender

I don’t really understand the hatred towards this c h i l d r e n ‘s s h o w at all. The show, overall, is about the development of characters and plots. People will dig and dive for non-existing ships when this season had nothing to do with that. This season, again, was the improvement of the team (as a whole) and the characters themselves. We need to understand that Voltron is a robot trying to save the universe, but at the same time the characters that drive and help create Voltron are dramatically changing as a person.

Apparently, there is queerbaiting in this season when there’s, in my opinion, there wasn’t any. Again, in my opinion, we don’t deserve the canon ships. People are getting upset that ships are getting canon or the fact the ships aren’t getting canon (but people still be mad like???). We are never satisfied with what we have in the show. Now, I know there are people that some-what agree and disagree with my incoherent words that I’m typing on this social media page, which, is understandable. I know it’s kind of dangerous for me to be speaking about my opinion on this show because everyone’s beliefs are different from mine.

However, attacking the cast or production team of Voltron is not the way to go. However, you can contact Dreamworks about the situation if y’all are t h a t upset about the situation, but do keep in mind they are here for money. Overall, they are gonna say and most likely be like: “Maybe adding these type of characters are wrongful and cause drama.”

Shiro, as of right now, is our main guy for the things real people go through in the real-world and to put that in a kid’s show, Dreamworks is out here. But for us to shout and whine at the Voltron cast, how is that gonna help at all? We want to change and do specific things for the show, but in reality we just have to appreciate what they give us. We can show support and achievement to not only the cast and production team but with the characters we love and adore.

And that’s my rant, again, I know it’s dangerous for me to actually talk about my opinion, especially since this situation is still kinda fresh. Nonetheless, I hope you all understand where I am coming from.
