I hate holidays

I look forward to holidays because I’m hopeless and forgiving. Every year they roll around and I’m reminded of why I hate them so much. I don’t have a loving family. I don’t receive love. I don’t get to get those happy pictures like others. I have it shoved in my face when others post the pictures with their loving families. I’m reminded about how different my life is because I get to hear how others are so excited to spend the holidays with their families and how they enjoy spending time with each other. And how they receive love.
