Siblings born and raised inside an earth-based experimental Mars biodome have only known a rustic medieval life rich in traditions and chivalry. Groomed by The Code, they have built a sustainable community devoid of Outsider interference--until the unthinkable happens. Grief-stricken and afraid for their lives, the siblings defy their upbringing and connect with a young man--a hacker--who, unbeknownst to them, is linked to their lives in shocking ways. Cultures clash when the high technology of the Anime Tech Movement collides with the Middle Ages in a quest for truth, unfolding a story rich in mystery, betrayal and love. Amazon

This is one of my highly favored characters in The Biodome Chronicles, written by the lovely Jesikah Sundin! Her name is Willow Oak Watson, a young lady who has fallen inlove with a very mysterious stranger named Fillion.
She’s a wild and free spirit (reminds me alot of myself sometimes! ;D ) and has a natural beauty that could capture many and her temper and personality will whirl you into her crazy life, it will make you fall in love with her character so much! Shes modest but also a playful person, her faith in her community and family is strong, and she tries to hold on to her family and life so courageously :)
I’m not much of a reader but these books have been an amazing experience and I’m honestly super excited to read the one currently in the works. I salute the strength of the coffee pot jesikah owns, you need props to buddy, us creative minds need the pick me ups!
Back on to the original point of what I was saying (I forgot the blinker on that last paragraphs subject, oops). This book helped me realize that the worlds of games, anime, and real issues in the future we may face can all smoothly flow together in a beautiful story of a futuristic Romeo and Juliet. I highly recommend the books to anyone looking for a enjoyable and wild adventure into the minds of people who life in entirely different worlds than our own but are so familiar its chilling <3
If I get some time in between moving to Florida and work, I may do another character as well ;)
SQUEEE...!!! I've waited a whole year to hold this beautiful book. Gah! CROOKED KINGDOM by @lbardugo is so gorgeous. The red tipped pages are like book seduction.
Kaz Brekker, you declared that you were going after Inej. The deal is the deal.
It arrived!!! Love the cover for LIKE A RIVER GLORIOUS by Rae Carsson. I'm excited to continue this Oregon Trail / Gold Rush historical fantasy. Once upon a time, I actually lived along the 49er Trail in California's Gold Country, in-between Sacramento and Tahoe. So this story is especially fun for me 💙
The cover for FROST LIKE NIGHT by Sara Raasch is sooooo GORGEOUS! *heart sigh* I can’t wait to crack open the final book in the “Snow Like Ashes” series and finish Meira, Mather, and Theron’s journey <3

Fantastic interview with SFFWorld! Not only did I get to describe myself in the 3rd person, but I also revealed a snipped from my next book series, “The Last Forest Kingdoms” ;-)
Two favorite YA trilogies: UNDER THE NEVER SKY by Veronica Rossi and THE REMNANT CHRONICLES by Mary E. Pearson. I lost the dust jacket on UTNS. Sighs... I need to buy another one! And, all my copies of TRC’s are signed <3
One of my absolute favorite YA Fantasy trilogies: FINNIKIN OF THE ROCK (The Lumatere Chronicles). I love dark fantasy and ancient worlds. This is a lesser known YA book, too. Definitely check it out!
