I haven’t shared the big project I finished last year, as a birthday and holiday gift for @naamah-beherit.

I got the idea back in August 2022 and it took about four months to finish - but I’m still beyond thrilled with how it turned out. Eye of Sauron quilt, anyone?

I made these using Homestead Tweed by Plymouth Yarn Company in shade burnt orange. This pattern was so much fun and so well written!

I am on holiday, no more work for six days. I really do need a break. To kick off our long weekend I have been taking a look at my big blue hexie star quilt and figuring out if I need any supplies from the quilt shop. I am very hopeful that quilt shops will be visited in the coming days. I need thread and needles and I need to take a look in my stash for more cream fabric. I will have to make more cream hexies. It is time too, to think about now I am going to square this quilt up. My original idea was motley blue like in the star points with plain stars worked in. I might have to do a layout to see if it will work. I also need to make a baby quilt so I had better add that to my shopping list although the stash should provide that one. Let the holiday begin and let the shopping list get sorted.

It's lace time again

Working on something for the local show - idk if the old ladies will accept something with a ribbon through it coz it wont be entirely made of lace but we shall see. I've got 20 days and more hubris than my body can contain if I think itll get done on time (I'm blaming the headaches on it).

Never done anything with 28 pairs before, the number of bobbins (pegs) is ridiculous and not really fitting on my pillow rip.

Any spare wishes for speedy work will be much appreciated
