As a matter of fact, Halloween is my holiday. I own that commercial shit. While I find capitalism disgusting, I could never say no to a chance of expressing myself visually without being kicked out of school for violating the dress code.

Of course not. And not everyone is meant to be the star of the show, or the face of the company. Personally I just feel that it can easily be transferred to all parts of life, regardless of your position in the social food chain.

Other people shouldn’t dictate your life. And no one says you have to blurt out your opinion every other second, I just mean that in order for people to know who they can truly count on they expect honesty, but how can we as people expect honesty from others if we won’t even give it out ourselves?Isn’t that hypocritical?

Dressing up is fun. You can use this as your chance of being anyway you have ever wanted to be. If you don’t want to be noticed, be one in the hundreds wearing a costume that is from the popular culture of the past year. But stay away from having a too good costume, or a too bad costume. Go mediocre.

But, why? Why hide yourself?

Well, it was never a harm to prepare yourself. Just because you make the preparation you aren’t bound to actually do it. If you feel bold when you wake up, you can pack up your costume, take it to school and change in the locker room or whatever. Having the dressup doesn’t equal doing it. Maybe you feel different about it when you stand there in the halls filled with a bunch of smeared up teenagers.

You don’t. You even have the excuse in the form of being a God whatever it is. No one can force you, which is why it is called optional. It is your right to say no to anything that makes you uncomfortable, as a religious person it is your right to refuse to participate in the prostitution of a religious holiday.

I honestly don’t see any reason not to be. Lying, sneaking around, holding back with opinions and honesty is really only capable of screwing up.

You aren’t, really. They just want you to think that you are. Peer pressure comes in other forms than just the students.
