Research Task - The Monster that ate Level 2
From this I can take for my itialan woman the feelings if the struggles of what she was going through what all the i tialans was going through at that time -they all spoke clear and put the information across -entertaining - loads of facts
I've learnt that the school kids were working class and not upper and I've learnt that that can depend on how they speak as well. (Slang) I didn't know the 'big bang' effected 2007 and 2012 as well.

Monster: From this research I have learnt that the play that they went to Dover on the school trip, I didn't know this. I also learnt that the place 'pericolo di morte' is in Spain not Italy, therefore when Im acting I know it's not actually set in Italy. Ive found out some good facts I wasn't aware of on the Economics slide. I didn't know when I'm playing an Italian towns person I needed too look and act wealthy because the Italians are supposed to be rich. This has helped me develop into my character.

1999: Born
2002: Started dancing at Kickers - (gymnastics, contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, street dance and tap)
2002-2013: (Dancing)-achieved scholarships, won competitions and did loads of exams which I achieved the highest levels you can get.
2010: Started dancing at school
2013: Took dance at GCSE level
2013: Stopped dancing at Kickers
2014: Did Footloose the Musical
2015: Awarded an A* in GCSE dance.
2015: Began a performing arts College course (dancing, singing and acting)
2015-2016: Awarded grades for three different productions - Caberet, The monster that ate level two and The spirits of the plague in Eyam.
2016: Did David Copperfield the Musical with ABD Productions
2016: Finished the college course
2016: Start a new dance school
2016: Begin year two of the Dance pathway-Performing Arts course.
2017: Get lots of experience with different companies by auditioning for musicals
2017: Finish year two of Performing arts
2017: Start year three of Dance path way-Performing arts
2018: Finish year three of the dance pathway for performing arts
2018: Audition for top dance academy’s away from home

Task 13-Research a possible career path in the performing arts – education needed and examples of the courses you could take , day to day role, experience, how you might use different networks/festivals to get there. How your skills or hobbies/interests match that role
Education/experience needed to become a dancer and the day to day role of becoming a dancer:
There aren’t any set education requirements needed to become a dancer however, all you need to do is concentrate on becoming a better, more experienced dancer to get where you need to be. To accomplish this you could become apart of a professional dance school this is a start to learn technical skills to become a better dancer, classes are usually after college hours or on a weekend so you can also take part in your full time education too. If you want to become a full time dancer taking a dance course at college as part of your main education would get you on the right track; Studying dance as a full time course will not only help you become a better dancer but it will also get you a diploma and many experiences to put on your CV. Outside of education you can also take extra classes that you don’t have to commit to, you can just turn up to it and pay when you’re there, you can go and try classes all over, in all sorts of different styles of dance to get more experience, fitness, skill and technique just that bit higher. After finishing your full time college education you could then look into getting into full time dance academy’s to commit to such as:
Italia Conti Academy in London
Royal Academy of Dance in London
places like these usually obtain accommodation for people who live miles away but it usually comes at a cost. Beside all of this you should also be auditioning for musicals all over the UK. You could get a job for an agency dancing on commercials/music videos/films/TV programmes/professional Musicals etc.
How my skills, hobbies and interests match this dancing role:
I’ve been dancing since I was 3, it’s always been what I love and enjoy to do. I was a part of a dance school for years, doing all kinds of dance in competitions, scholarships, exams etc. I’ve took part in musicals such as Footloose and David Copperfield. I’ve been to dance classes in Sheffield to do different styles to gain experience. I’m apart of an agency that’s gets me jobs dancing on TV etc. I want to carry on dancing and auditioning for roles to get more higher experience.
Task 10- Comparing job roles from Task 8 and 9.
I think both job roles are equally as difficult to get into, I think they're both equally important when it comes to productions; without a wardrobe manager the production would just not be complete, it wouldn't create each character; a character is created not just through personality but also through what they wear, also the production wouldn't be realistic, the audience wouldn't understand the time genre which its set in without the correct clothing which a wardrobe manager provides either. However, if you're without a technical manager the production would become very plain and boring to watch, there would be no lighting, no effects, no backdrops to create the scene or location, the mic's may not work effectively or properly if there is no technical manager to check them. I think both of these roles are extremely important and vital that we have them when it comes to productions. My preferred career would to be a dancer, in musical theatre, TV programmes such as X factor (back up dancer), films and on cruise ships hopefully, eventually. These two jobs link in with my preferred career because without them the shows would look plain without amazing costumes that are suited to the genre of a performance. Also, without a technical manager you are without mic's, lighting, sound effects, back drops and so much more. These two roles are the two jobs which make a performance that huge bit better, they make a massive difference, for example: in rehearsals the show doesn't look like its reached its full potential as they don't yet have the lighting, special effects or backdrops that create the location, also the cast aren't in character as there are no costumes yet however, when it's show night the show its self all comes together and it looks so much better than what it did in rehearsals and it's all thanks to the costumes which a wardrobe manager provides and the lighting, backdrops, mic's and sound effects which the technical managers provide. Therefore, in my preferred career I wouldn't be able to be able to participate in good shows or performances without both of these job roles.
