I do in fact have that summertime sadness
Here is a little description of the elements since I haven't stayed active. For whoever actually reads these posts #justbeinghonest
(the picture is not matched with the order)
Earth is the first element to come about that PROVIDES the solid ground and other key components. From that point on existence can safely flourish and continue to flow...
TAURUS (meaning)
VIRGO (ideas)
CAPRICORN (tradition)
Water then ADDS that refreshing view and other needed substance into the creatures that come about. This is just one process that keeps life going...
CANCER (comfort)
SCORPIO (attachment)
PISCES (intuition)
Air will then swoop in to MIX UP components to keep the environment fresh all while providing a calming effect. Not to mention this leads into the final component...
GEMINI (thoughts)
LIBRA (relations)
AQUARIUS (ideals)
Fire! The warm and very needed element to HEAT UP so that gathered food can be devoured for strength. This is what creates the energy to get tasks done and therefore keep life going!
ARIES (strength)
LEO (confidence)
SAGITTARIUS (adventure)
30 Day Astro Challenge
[[This challenge was originally posted by a blog called adviceforyouandyouandyou, but it seems that their account has been deactivated and so the original post is nowhere to be found. I wanted to encourage a bunch of you newer blogs to participate, since I got so much out of it when I completed it back in the day.]]
Reblog this and for the next 30 days, fill out each question in numerical order, starting with one.
Day One: Tell us the first thing you remember learning about Astrology. Day Two: Tell us what your favorite and least favorite signs are - and why. Day Three: Tell us the sun signs of your entire immediate family (so siblings and parents - and don’t forget yourself!) Day Four: Tell us your favorite personality traits of your sun & moon signs. Day Five: Tell us some struggles you have had to face because of your chart. Let’s say two struggles. Day Six: How much study time have you really put into Astrology? And how comfortable would you be teaching a beginner’s class on the subject? Day Seven: Do you believe in cusps? Why or why not? Day Eight: Who are your top 3 favorite astroblogs? Day Nine: What are your crush’s sun and moon signs? If you don’t have a crush, then tell us your ascentdant sign and three things you like about having said ascendant sign. Day Ten: Tell us your Mercury sign and three facts about either how you communicate with others or how you learn. Day Eleven: Tell us your Venus sign and three facts about how you express love or how you like others to express love toward you. Day Twelve: Tell us your Mars sign and how you act when enraged. Do you black out? Do you punch things? Day Thirteen: Tell us your Jupiter sign and three morals that you hold to a high standard. Day Fourteen: Tell us your Saturn sign and three things that you think hold you back from your dreams. Day Fifteen: Tell us your Uranus sign and two things that you feel very knowledgeable about. Day Sixteen: Tell us your Neptune sign and if you’ve ever had a really spiritually awakening moment, tell us about it! Day Seventeen: Tell us your Pluto and a moment when you had big change in your life, be it a big move or maybe your younger sibling being born. Day Eighteen: Tell us your Chiron and one hardship you went through that you feel made you a better person. Day Nineteen: How long have you known about Astrology? Who first told you about it? Did you immediately believe in it or did you have to be convinced or do you still not believe in it? Day Twenty: What is the hardest lesson to learn that you think Astrology has to teach us? Day Twenty-One: Tell us your favorite memory with each sign. Day Twenty-Two: Can you think of one person for each sign? Tell us how they relate to you (are they a friend, your aunt, your cousin?) Day Twenty-Three: Tell us the first word you think of when you think of each individual sign. Day Twenty-Four: Tell us the first name you think of when you think of each individual sign. Day Twenty-Five: Tell us one over-communicated stereotype about your sun sign. Day Twenty-Six: Tell us the sign and a couple of traits of the person that most impacted your life. Day Twenty-Seven: Describe your hero using Astrology. (3 things) Day Twenty-Eight: What are the sun & moon signs of your best friends? Three friends tops. Day Twenty-Nine: What sun/moon combo do you consider to be most platonically compatible with your sun/moon combo? Why are they the most compatible? Day Thirty: Tell us three random facts about you using Astrology.
Day 1: What started this journey was becoming aware of basic sun sign personality traits in library books at the age of 13ish
I completely spaced this whoa! Not surprising. Left off on day two. Completely out of order.
So favorite sign would be Aries. Not only am I happily with an Aries man, they give off great vibes and are great to be around.
Least favorite is Pisces. Best way to explain, they are confusing and not in an intriguing way. In an annoying and head bashing way.
Wow still not done each day. Why is this so easy to forget?
Day 3. So very interesting fact. The immediate family is in order starting with my dad being a Libra. From him little brother is a Scorpio. Mom is Sagittarius. Big brother Capricorn. Then I end with being the Aquarius.
Day 4. With the Sun and Moon signs being Aquarius, I would say favorite traits are being intelligent with conversation and analytical. Plus of course witty 😉
Day 5 for struggles. Both Mars and Mercury is retrograde in the good ole chart so I have a hard time with confidently expressing anger, frustration, stress and along with that take a while to finally speak up about big issues, observations, and so on. Also talk real quick and studder at times.
For aspects, I have Moon, Mars, and Saturn square the ascendant so come off pretty closed off, aggressive, and younger for my age while seeming uncomfortable in social situations

being vulnerable enough to tell people how much you care about them is infinitely more brave than pretending to be above love and using edginess as a method of self-preservation

It's been SO long since I've been active! With the day of luck and hope, it's good to spread joy!
Also with spring arriving soon, I'd like to continue this blog. Let the passion of astrology bloom again!
Full Moon in Gemini
🌙 12th December 2019
The last full moon of the year and also the last full moon of this decade! So make sure to use the energy to your benefit. It is time to wrap up all your unfinished business.
Gemini full moon could bring us challenges when it comes to love and finances. Venus will be conjunct Pluto and Saturn at the time and that points to troubles with expressing our emotions and feeling content. It is also here to test our relationships and get rid of anything toxic! So if all your relationships are healthy and built on trust, then there is nothing to worry about.
Make sure to stay patient and hard-working during this time. If any problems come your way, make sure to deal with them in a calm manner. Do not delay what needs to be taken care of!
hi! i have a question about your venus in the houses post. could you explain “critical love with improvement” (venus in the 6th) a bit more in depth?
This is definitely a late answer so apologies! The 6th house of Virgo is about non stop observations of personal and objective character of others to be a better person. With the planet of pleasure/preferences mixed with that, most aspects of relationships and habits are going to be seen as continuous projects. There may be doubt a lot in that realm of romance as to how much can be offered and received. This is also someone who loves routine and orderly environments
I haven’t seen a lot of posts about how mars and Venus play off each other in the natal chart. At least, romantically speaking; what do you think of mars in 5th and Venus in 7th in the natal chart?
Hello! Mars is the planet of aggression and passion so it being placed in the 5th House of Leo which has to do with pleasure creativity, passions will then be enhanced especially in matters of close personal relationships such as family. I see a very protective person as well over what matters most to them emotionally. As far as Venus in the 7th which is what I have as well, this resembles somebody who would rather be with somebody than alone even if they're independent. life is more enhanced with a partner as how they see it and romance is important
hey guys, hope your skin is clear and you get a text from someone you like real soon.
also that your lunch tastes good, you find twenty dollars on the ground, and that thing coming up that you were dreading turns out not so bad
Passing this good karma
I reblogged this 3 days ago and my skin got clear and I got a message from a guy who refers to me as queen yesterday. Good karma vibes all around.

the four quadrants of a natal chart
Building on the concept of hemispheres, is the lesser-known astrological concept of quadrants, which essentially, are four segments of an astrological chart. The quadrant encompasses three houses/signs. Looking at a natal chart through the quadrant method can also be an alternative to using common house systems. Personally, I favour the Placidus system, but regardless of what house system you use, honestly, no one house system will be totally accurate on its own. Anyway, as detailed in the hemispheres post, the chart is divided into two sets of hemispheres; the northern/southern, and the eastern/western. Quadratic emphasis is achieved when six or more planets are concentrated in a certain quadrant. This emphasis can either be northeastern, northwestern, southeastern, or southwestern. Here is an explanation of the quadrants’ significance on a person’s disposition:
I-III: is the quadrant of the awareness of self; this quadrant is comprised of houses one through three. It is also known as the spring quadrant, or the northeastern hemisphere. It’s led by the ascendant (ASC), or the first house, the house of Aries.
1st house: me and my identity
2nd house: my values and self-worth
3rd house: my thoughts and communication
This individual is predisposed to being more distrustful, self-reliant, and autonomous. The individual is expected to integrate personality with self-worth, value systems and communication. This is a person who built themselves from the ground up. They look inward. Emphasis is put on self-awareness and focusing on what the individual needs with lots of time being alone doing what they want. They can have trouble seeing others’ points of view and have a subjective outlook on life.
IV-VI: the quadrant of merging with your immediate environment; this quadrant is comprised of houses four through six. It is also known as the summer quadrant, or the northwestern hemisphere. It’s led by the imum coeli (IC), or the fourth house, the house of Cancer.
4th house: concern is given to the family and domestic situation
5th house: concern is given to creativity
6th house: concern is given to cooperation and working with others
This individual is predisposed to being more self-expressive, creative, thoughtful, and innovative. They have a developed awareness of people outside themselves, manly those in their inner circle and work environment. This individual defines themselves through their relationships with others and they’re strongly influenced by the people in their life, particularly children, their family and co-workers. These individuals are the most complex out of all the quadrants and can be emotionally taxing on their loved ones. They’re paradoxical because they want to take risks without rocking the boat. Tends to be very well-liked and popular.
VII-IX: the quadrant of the awareness of others; this quadrant is comprised of houses seven through nine. It is also known as the autumn quadrant, or the southeastern hemisphere. It’s led by the descendant (DSC), or the seventh house, the house of Libra.
7th house: the individual needs to connect with others in order to establish partnerships/relationships
8th house: the individual needs to connect with others intimately in order to experience the totality of human emotions
9th house: the individual needs to connect with others in order to explore ways of thinking and relating to others different from themselves
This individual is predisposed to being social yet highly self-contained and in control of their destiny. They’re interested in putting aside the self in order for meaningful interactions with others, whether it be an exchange of ideas, bodily fluids, or cultures. Relationships, partnerships, intimacy, life and death, psychology, world philosophy and discovering what they lust for and desire the most are areas of importance. They look outward. Sharing, merging and balancing themselves with others gives them fulfillment and keeps them vital. Their energy is such that they’re rarely alone, whether they like it or not.
X-XII: the quadrant of merging with society at large; this quadrant is comprised of houses ten through twelve. It is also known as the winter quadrant, or the southwestern hemisphere. It’s led by the midheaven (MC), or the tenth house, the house of Capricorn.
10th house: the person needs to be a part of society in order to achieve, succeed, and have others see them as an authority
11th house: the person needs to be a part of society in order to espouse ideas that will help humanity and promote friendship
12th house: the person needs to be a part of society in order to give help and compassion to others
This individual is predisposed to contribute to society in some way, shape or form. With them, it’s about everyone, not just themselves. Theirs is a public life and they naturally attract the spotlight, whether they like it or not. Focus is put on their reputation, altruism, and the realization of their dreams. They see themselves in relation to others, whether it be groups in general, their friends, or the world at large. They long to project their achievements, ideas, and/or creativity in order to simultaneously serve the greater good and ensure that they leave a legacy. Others tend to drain them of their energy and resources; nonetheless, success comes to them when they give of themselves.
