alaina & jessica; bar prowling
“You’re right, I should. And hopefully you never learn any better,” Alaina teased, smirking at the other wolf. Even if Jessica did stand out, she looked nice and Alaina could definitely appreciate that. As tall and beautiful as Jessica was, Alaina imagined she would stand out anyways. “Vodka, for now. Everything here is shit, but at least vodka is always shit anyways,” Alaina laughed, catching the bartender’s attention enough to hold up two fingers and the man nodded, sliding one drink towards her then a few moments later, another towards Jessica. Alaina slid him a bill across the bar, before turning to Jessica and raising her glass. “Cheers,” she told her with a grin, clinking their glasses together before tossing back her drink.
Jessica’s grin became a little sly at Alaina’s comment, shooting her a look and sweeping her dark red hair over her shoulder and behind her ear. “Maybe I’ll keep it up for your benefit, then,” Jessica smirked, but her cheeks were still colored - she very well knew the only person in the bar she’d dressed up for was the prickly brown she-wolf. Picking up the glass, she clinked it with Alaina’s, murmured “cheers,” and simultaneously took the shot. Jessica’s entire body wiggled and her nose wrinkled at the burn, setting the glass down on the bar and stifling a laugh behind her hand, “god, what is that, lighter fluid?” Her grin reappeared when she dropped her hand to mimic Alaina’s earlier gesture to the bartender; eyes shooting back to the brunette’s face, she shook her head. “That’s awful. I’ll take two more.”
