Tim: hey, you called me #7
Tim: i'm okay with being anything s'long as it means you like me and want me
Zoey [unsent]: god what the fuck
Zoey [unsent]: why didnt you just ask me out. you knew i liked you. i looked like a dumb schoolgirl with fucking hearts in my eyes. and then i didnt stop staring at you when you stole me away from my birthday party and we drove around town. so why. didnt. you. fucking. say. something.

Zoey: is that what you got from that? smh 6, smh.

——— God, this boy was such an idiot. Did he have to say everything with a smirk? Grimacing in return (and by that she meant scrunching her face for a few seconds in his direction), she clambered into the car, wrapping the seatbelt around her. “Awful, now that you’re here,” she said in a sugary sweet voice, batting her eyelashes for dramatic effect. “Just drive, would you?” she added in a lowered voice, remembering her snoring house. With her large number of siblings, one of them was bound to wake up should they be here too long.
"You know what this is, though?" she added, a small smile creeping up on her face at the very thought. "It’s midnight — okay, ten, whatever — and you’re picking me up, no headlights." Leaning back, she told herself to stop, but ended up murmuring out of the corner of her mouth. "This is gonna be a long drive, you know. Could end in burning flames — or paradise."
There were things about her, like the way in which she carried herself and the way in which she responded to everything, that seemed to pull him in. Although, it had to be admitted that the more that she seemed to pull him in, the more smirks and comments he was pulling. It was his own way, of kind of saying, I dig you- and although, inviting her to his gig and out to McDonald’s didn’t really go with that, it worked too. He listened to her, laughing at the look she gave and the words that rolled off her tongue. “As you wish, master.” He tried not to chuckle, although it was tough. Rolling his eyes playfully, Tim shook his head once. “You’re unbelievable.” Only she’d pull that on him, and it took everything in him to not go along with it. “Is this really how I’m going to spend my night---” He began, teasingly, sending a smile her way to show he was joking. “I’m about to turn the car around, and drop you off at home.”
——— Stepping outside in a band tee and a pair of pants with kittens along them (she wasn’t kidding about wearing pyjamas), Zoey wrapped her sweater around her waist, too proud to admit the cold air was cold. It was an awful idea, a night time McDonald’s run with a weirdo she was friends with (were they friends? She couldn’t even tell), but her parents and siblings didn’t wake up to the sound of her sneaking out, so she figured there was no turning back now. What was the worst that could happen, right?
——— Tim was happy, there was no denying that; after all, how could he not be when Zoey had agreed to go on the McDonald's run with him that time? He was quick, grabbing his keys and jacket in record time, and heading out the door- towards his car. He had an idea of where it was in town that she lived, so he only had to memorize the street and house number and he was set. It was kind of late, so thankfully there weren't many cars around, and so getting to her house wasn't time consuming. He drove by slowly, quickly seeing that Zo was waiting outside ——— Timothy failed to keep himself from wondering if she was cold, if she just had her sweater wrapped around her waist to prove the chilly air didn't affect her. He rolled down the window, driving even slower once he got to her house. "Hey, Zo; how you feelin'?" Tim questioned with a smirk, leaning over to open the door for her. No point in getting out and opening the door for her; there were no lights in her house, which screamed sneaking out ——— and he didn't want to risk anyone seeing her if that was the case, which meant they needed to leave asap.
