Settling in

Not only had him and Farrah had a falling out, but seems that Farrah in her haste had disappeared forever. It's been bittersweet for Nick since. Even though he has barely been in Strangerville a month, he's been trying his best adapt to his new life here.

It all starts here

For the past few weeks I have been playing the UDC challenge and trying to figure out how to best post this on my Simblr. I think I finally figured out how to so with out further ado, I present....

Meet Valaria and Betrand (Valaria's second husband), Adelaide (Valaria's daughter), Penelope (Bertrand's daughter from his first marriage) and Alec (Valeria's son) who are married.

The Lore

Valaria got married young to her childhood sweetheart and they had two children. She thought she was gonna grow old with him, but life is unfair sometimes for no good reason. Not four years later her first husband died of consumption (AKA tuberculosis). He had left a big property with a lot of land but for the sake of her two children and her she knew she needed to marry again or starve.

Bertrand's parents died when when he was a teen and he grew to become self-sufficient. A beautiful woman came to his door in homely clothes and begged for a warm place to stay. He was hesitant but he was also tired of not having decent home-cooked meals. He let her stay in exchange for meals and, after a quick hand-fasting ceremony, a warm body. She eventually got pregnant but he knew his first wife had not loved him but was with him for convenience sake. She died giving birth to Penelope. After not the best of circumstances, he had gotten to know a handsome woman named Valaria. What he knew for sure was that he needed someone for Penelope and Valaria needed someone in order to keep herself and her kids from starving. What started out as convenience for both of them, deepened into a deep love and respect.

Alec was always a rough and tumble kid who was always getting into mischief. One day his dad got ill and his illness steadily got worse and worse until a week later he passed away. From that point on Alec stayed close to the house and even at the age of five he realized he had to step up. He tried to take on the chores that his dad did and he felt very protective of his little sister Adelaide.It was just them for a bit but he could tell from the way his mom Valaria looked that she was hiding something from them. She always sent him out with Adelaide for a bit everyday and he always wondered why. FInally one day he came home and found him at the house with another kid about his age. Valaria told Alec that she and Bertrand were handfasted and the little girl was Bertrand's daughter Penelope.

Penelope doesn't remember her mother at all and she was a little kid when her father met Valaria and her two kids. Penelope couldn’t really remember a lot about her father’s marriage to Valaria. Just that it happened fast and at first she really didn’t like Alec. He was kinda mean to her in fact. She did like Adelaide and grew to love her like a real sister. Although they didn't really think much of each other, as they grew up Alec and Penelope's relationship changed. Bertrand and Penelope have been in their lives since Alec was five years old and since Adelaide was a one year old.

Nick decided on Strangerville and moved into a little house that was big enough for him and Pickles. Even though he had a lot of emotions to sort through, he was excited at the prospect of some new adventures...

Occult Legacy Challenge

You're not there very long before you start to notice things are particularly strange and the locals are even stranger. At your job at the local lab, you overhear colleagues talking about the towns mystery and the 'other' lab that stands across town. You get sucked into the conspiracy and are determined to figure it all out. On top of that, you're pretty sure you've made contact with aliens. What could possibly go wrong?

DAYS OF OUR SIMS turned 1 today!

It's been a year since I started this Simblr and I have been having so much fun writing down my sims adventures! This is also the first time I have not taken an extended break from playing (as Sims players we all know how that goes). Creating this Simblr (in conjunction with The Sims Tree website) has helped with that.

Bittersweet

Nick was sad about Farrah, not only because he lost his friendship with her but because it looked liked in her haste she was never coming back to the land of the living. He was also excited about the prospect of his new adventure in Strangerville. His new house seemed to be perfect for him and Pickles.

Point of no Return

Farrah was very sad since she lost her friendship with Nick. She was also looking back and wondering why she has never seen Justin as a ghost. Had there been something that happened that prevented him from being a ghost? She also thought through her life and realized that seeing Leah again would never truly be a possibility. She took as much comfort as she could thinking that Leah was really and truly better off with Liv and Olivia...as much as it pained her to admit that.

New Chapter

After giving it a lot of thought Jenette decided it was time for a new chapter in her life. She had fallen hard for Giancarlo and after talking it over with Giancarlo, she decided to move out and resign her position of the leader of the woohoo cult. She then had a long conversation with everyone and there were lots of tears and hugs.

Best Friends Part 3

Usually Nick is the level-headed one but he got so mad that his emotions got the best of him for a moment. He realized just in time and redirected his zap to above her head. After that, it was too late....and NIck and Farrah's relationship was ruined in a afternoon.
