The bruises stung and the hand prints hurt The scars on my heart hurt the worst because they will never heal

He looked at me like I could change the world and my god, I wish I could.

One day, you will regret throwing me away as much as I regret loving you

I canât tell you how many times I cried for him. I lost track when I started bleeding for him. I took a shot for every time I thought of him. Every thought was like a star in the sky- impossible to keep track of without getting lost. Before I knew it,  it  had me feeling exactly what I wanted to feel: nothing. Iâd wake up in the morning and it was the same routine. Not a day goes by where I donât wish that I looked him hard in the face and said the words that have been itching, burning, clawing at my heart for years. Itâs not easy to stop loving someone when theyâve woven themselves into your heart. You canât help it, you donât know youâre falling until youâve hit the ground. How do you cope in the aftermath when theyâre still woven in, but theyâve left? I wanted to cut him out, it was the only way. I canât tell you how many times I tried.

Mother always said I was a messy child,
I coloured outside the lines onto the table.
Once colours on paper, became emotions in my mind.
I was too messy for you to clean up.
As my tears streamed, I screamed I wasnât born to stay within the lines.
Mother you were right
âOne day you fall for this boy. And he touches you with his fingers. And he burns holes in your skin with his mouth. And it hurts when you look at him. And it hurts when you donât. And it feels like someoneâs cut you open with a jagged piece of glass. And  then you realize you always felt that way.â (Fragments, by ed-ingle)
Do you ever know what the birds are singing? You donât. But you listen to them anyway. So, sometimes with art, it is important just to look.

therapist: your ignoring all of your problems
me: yeah i know
therapist: you know that's an unhealthy coping mechanism right?
me: yeah I know, i'm ignoring that as well

We are made of torn books and forgotten smiles, living in a world that hooks on white and pretty lies. The life we live is no better than gold And we do not have much to give, except our very old soul. Sometimes everything is a blur, but still we are happy together And we could not be happier to exist with one another.

âLet the hate go.â he said. âLet it allâgo. The burdens that youâve been keeping inside your heart. The darkness that surrounds it. Please do not keep that baggage with you forever. I know, itâs the hardest thing to do, but how will you be able to know if itâs worth it, if you wouldnât even want to give it a try? This time, listen to your heart carefully. Close your eyes and let it flow. Let the feelings run through. Darling please remember, that we arenât living in the past. You arenât in the same position as you were ten years ago. This is the present. This is what you should be thinking of .â he held her hand tightly and said, âI am not him. And he was not me. And just because I am asking you to forgive him, that doesnât mean that I am also asking you to forget everything he did. I am just asking you not to let him ruin everything we have right now. Because I love you. And I can never afford to lose you. Please darling, not youâ.
