The Beauty of Davao: Travelogue

  Davao is located in the southeastern of Mindanao island, Philippines. Davao currently has a 1.8 million population with a growth of 195thousand. Davao City is the largest city in the world in terms of land area. Davao City is also considered as one of the most livable and safest cities globally because of its low crime rate and strict enforcement of discipline order by its local government. (theculturetrip.com) and lastly, Davao is the durian capital of the Philippines.

So as I visited Davao almost three years ago, it was my first time going there, and I saw the beauty of it. I also felt that I was in a safe place even if I went missing, no one will hurt me, and the people there are so charming. Many people in Davao talk a lot. You will not get bored because they know how to speak and entertain a traveler. And I did notice that Durians and other fruits are everywhere in Davao. You can buy them at a very very low price compared to manila that the price got double. You can also eat durian in many ways. You can eat it like candy, durian shake, ice cream, and many more. Davao also has a lot of beautiful beaches, just like Samal island that we visited before. That island is very clean and has good refreshing air. It is suitable for those who want to unwind and refresh their mind.

Eden Nature Park

When we come here at Eden Nature Park, this area is a great place to go because you can explore many wildlife sanctuaries full of birdlife, plants, and flowers. Don't miss this place,  If you're coming to Davao, you're going to learn a lot here, and this place is so refreshing because it's full of nature. If you come here, you will become acquainted with nature and enjoy an authentic mountain experience.

Mount Apo

 Even though I did not have the chance to hike this mountain before, I will still recommend this to you if you are a mountain climber or just a tourist that can hike you must come and hike to this beautiful mountain. This mountain is called the “king of the Philippine peaks” it is one of the SEA’s highest mountains.

Jack’s Ridge

 Jack's Ridge is known to have an "eagle eye view" view because you can see the whole town of Davao in this place. We really enjoyed the night light of the city when we came here. so, if you want to chill or relax in order to enjoy the view of the city, this is my best recommendation for you to spend your time and hang with your family and friends.

Davao crocodile park

Davao crocodile park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Davao city. There are thousands of crocodiles in this crocodile park. They've got fresh water and saltwater crocodiles. You can also see other animals like monkeys, snakes, birds, and more. When we first visited here, it was really satisfying to see a lot of animals being cared at the park
