These past three years have been peculiar. Graduated college. Many relationships were formed and some were lost. Moved to Chicago. Finished a graduate degree at UChicago. Held many jobs. Changed vocation. Traveled places. Learned weird things about myself. Overall, these years have been transformative and full of reflections. As a kid, I remember watching Robocop on Nepal's only TV station, and I wanted to be him. I would wake up early, grab a cup of tea and biscuits and sit in front of TV watching Robocop take the criminal underworld of Detroit. I found this cop to be a "cool" hero empowered by technology and humbled by humanity. Although I didn't understand the complexity of human/non-human elements in the movie, I sure enjoyed his/its heroics in fighting the crime in the State that I have call my second home now. #robocop #hero #detroit
