my daisalina AU ideas ^^

this is a running list of my Daisalina AU ideas, whether I've started them or they're upcoming. if they're active, there will be links to doodles or fics I've made in that AU. they'll feature Daisalina but they may involve other ships as well. enjoy! ^^

Film/Music Industry AU

Daisy is an aspiring producer, and Rosalina is a singer. Pauline is Rosalina's ex but they're on good terms. Daisy graduated a year or so ago, and now she's doing a paid internship at her dream studio. Bowser recently bought the studio so things have changed, and he signs Rosalina to be the new face. When Daisy sees her sing for the first time, she falls really hard for Rosie.

I'm not sure if this should be a movie studio for musicals, or a music/dance studio.

Princess University AU

Daisy's parents want her to be more "princessy," so she can have a husband (Daisy's bi but she prefers girls). So they send her to Princess University. They don't realize that PU is actually a gay fighting program in space, ran by Rosie. It's essentially a queer haven full of amazing lesbians and other bi/pan/queer women and others. Daisy meets people like Samus and Bayonetta, and she does so well in the program that she catches Rosalina's attention. Rosie created PU to find a wife, and to empower people in case she ever needed help in any intergalactic fights.

Job AU

Rosalina has a stressful job as a therapist. Daisy is new to town and she works at Yoshi's. Rosie doesn't always have supportive people around her, but when Mario and Luigi tell her about Yoshi's restaurant endeavors, she starts going to one of his locations. The food isn't the healthiest, but she treats it like a guilty pleasure. Especially when she meets Daisy, who is an extremely cute cashier.

Daisy is dealing with some issues, like feelings of inadequacy and sometimes feeling guilty for being plus size, especially now that she works at Yoshi's. She realizes that food doesn't necessarily contribute to weight and she believes in body positivity, but some days are harder than others. So Rosie helps her with her self confidence, and Daisy helps her enjoy life and have boundaries with work.

this is probably a dumb question. and i'm not sure about the logistics of it. but please. does anyone have an old smartphone they'd be willing to give to me?

i've been emailing people and asking on Reddit for weeks about my situation (I can explain in DMs), and everyone agrees that it's probably abusive and I need to move out asap (which isn't easy). but whether it's abusive or not I need a phone.

if there's anything at all you can do to help, I'd be extremely grateful. dw I'm safe, I just need to be independent have things in place in case something happened
