Emmy tilted her head, looking at the ceiling in thought as they walked. “Mm, yup! But I also do other things on my channel. I’m known to eat like a lot f new foods or snacks and reviewing them as well as just documenting the places I’ve gone ever since I came to the states.” She smiled fondly, thinking of her subbies.

Listening with interest, Jihae couldn’t help but smile. The younger girl seemed to really like what she did, something she recognized in herself. ‘’Remind me to check out your channel. I won’t tell my stylist why my clothes don’t fit anymore after I’ve bought all the food you review.’’

“This will hurt my brain?” he asked, lifting his head to look at the girl who had spoken to him. “But my brother said it was important that I read them.”

‘’Honestly trust me, put it down and do something more productive.’’ She laughed at his confused expression. ‘’They aren’t that important as they make you believe.’’

“You’d look pretty hot next to a nice car but I ain’t gonna lie, I’d be more into the car.” Emmy chuckled loudly and lifted her arm up in excitement. “Aye!” She cheered and followed closely by Jihae’s side.

She laughed. ‘’Fair enough, fair enough. I’ll make sure it’s a beautiful car.’’ She leaded the girl out of the lobby, the bar was somewhere further away so they had time to talk. ‘’So you’re a vlogger?’’ She asked curiously.

“You’re fine. I’ve actually heard worse,” she said, a small smile adorning her lips. As the older woman asked her about her parents, Peaches let out a soft sigh. “Yeah, they’re one of those couples who should never have had a child in the first place. Not that I think they wanted to, anyway.”

‘’I’m glad, I don’t wanna ruin my first impression.’’ Hearing the story of the girl, her expression got troubled. ‘’Damn, that’s messed up. I’m sorry to hear that.’’ Normally she’d give someone a hug, but she wasn’t so sure if the girl would appreciate it. ‘’Let’s talk something more fun, I’m sorry for bringing it up. What do you do for fun here?’’

“I can’t get much holiday in England,” he said with a shrug. It was true, in England everyone knew who was, everywhere.

‘’Ahh,’’ she nodded. ‘’That makes a lot of sense. I totally get that. I can’t get much rest either at times, but I’m not a prince so it must be worse for you.’’

bad temper || oliver and jihae

The thing was, in her years of modelling Jihae had met a lot of people. Some people she just kept seeing everywhere, whether it be commercials or big event, and others she only saw once a year or never again. She didn’t mind meeting so many people, she was a people person anyway; but there were some people she just hoped to avoid but yet kept showing up everywhere. There were also people she just wasn’t sure about, they weren’t her type of people but they probably weren’t that bad as they looked like. Or so she liked to believe.

When she came to the Royal Haven hotel, she’d hoped to kind of escape the people she knew and meet completely new others. Imagine her surprise when she saw Oliver Hart walking down the hall. She’d done a photoshoot with him a while back, and he was one of the people she just wasn’t sure about. He eyed like a bad guy, but Jihae was the person who always saw the good in people where other’s didn’t. She was pretty sure Oliver could not be that bad.

Not sure to say hello or not, she just kept walking. Maybe he didn’t recognize her, or didn’t wanna talk with her. She didn’t really feel like striking up an awkward conversation if she could avoid one.

Noticing his nervous expression, she gave him a sweet smile. ‘’It’s no problem, I’d be glad to.’’ She moved in front of the camera again and tried to look as casual as possible.

“I have heard of you! I saw some of your work. You’re very good at what you do.” She smiled. “Nina Charos.”

‘’Thank you! That’s so great to hear.’’ She returned the girl’s smile. ‘’Nice to meet you Nina, what are you doing here at Royal Haven?’’

“You sure you’re not just being humble? But honestly, you could be famous there and I wouldn’t know, especially if you’re newer in the stardom world. In high school I was more into who has a faster car and binge watching cartoons. Just the past year, maybe two I’ve started to pay attention to celebs, but those are more youtubers or Chef Ramsay.” Emmy stuck out her tongue slightly at the corner of her mouth, nodding her head in approval. “You heard the lady, mates!”

‘’Ah that must be it then, I’ve been around for quite some years. But honestly not that much in Australia. Should I do a car commercial to get your attention next time? Maybe one with Ramsay?’’ She grinned, she started to like this girl already. Judging from her camera she was a vlogger, so she should check out her videos when she had the time. ‘’Alright, to the bar!’’ And she gently pulled the girl with her.

“You’re fine, don’t worry about it,” Avery reassured her, returning her smile. “Thanks. It’s one of many that my dad owns. He actually just bought a hotel in Dubai,” she commented, a smile still adorning her face. “The kitchens?” she repeated, her eyebrows raising at the question. “They’re not far, but surely the restaurant would be more comfortable, don’t you agree?”

‘’Dubai, whoah, I’ll make sure to go there too. I haven’t been to Dubai for a while. Last time was maybe back in 2013. ’’ She whipped her hair back and gave her shy smile. ‘’Restaurants are more comfortable indeed, but I tend to eat a lot of midnight snacks and that’s when I visit the kitchens. The staff there is really nice actually.’’

Adelaide thought for a moment, did you know about any actresses or actors that was up-to-date? “Eh… Meryl Streep?” she said and tried to sound convincing. Wait, hadn’t she already won one?
