Celeste waited impatiently for the elevator to open, her arms full of newly bought art supplies. As the doors opened, she stepped inside, not really watching where she was going, causing her to trip over her own feet, dropping her art supplies as she fell. She let out a sigh as she lay there on the floor, propping herself up on her elbows as she moved her gaze around the small space of the elevator, noticing another person standing there. “Uhm, hi,” she said, smiling up at them. “Would you mind pushing the button for me? I’m going to the second floor.”
Adelaide had gone politely aside when someone else had gone in the elevator. She had wanted to help her when she saw that she lost her supplies, but it seemed like she had control. When she asked if she could push the button. “Yeah, sure,” she smiled and pressed the button to the second floor. “Do you need some more help?”
