A Return
There was a time when words came easily to me…
when I would sit with a cup of coffee, a quiet moment, and a desire to connect.
That space became Grapevine News…
and later, Sunday Morning Over Coffee—
a place where thoughts, stories, and reflections found their way into the world.
And then… life happened.
Loss has a way of reshaping us.
After my father passed, and as my marriage came to an end,
I found myself navigating a new reality—one that required time, healing,
and more strength than I knew I had.
Writing, once my refuge, became something I quietly set aside.
Not abandoned… just waiting.
Over the years, I continued to express myself in other ways,
including writing for Yallah Magazine, which I’m deeply grateful for.
But somewhere along the way, I began to miss this—my space.
A place to write freely.
To reflect honestly.
To simply be.
And so… here I am again.
This isn’t about starting over.
It’s about returning.
Returning to a part of myself that never truly left.
Returning with more life lived, more depth, more understanding…
and, I hope, more compassion—for myself and for others.
