the way Orpheus dramatically jumped in front of Eurydice when she was moving towards Hades during Way Down Hadestown killed me so badly dude. I could write an essay about how much I loved Reeve in this film, but that song specifically was just UGH. and the way him and Eurydice were holding each other at the front of the stage and he was kicking his feet, and they both looked so interested in what was happening OUGHDGHEGDHGEDGhHGGH I AM GOING INSANE

thank you, that's really awesome to hear!!! tbh I haven't draw much of my Jo, and most everything that I have drawn I've posted lol (search Jamsverse Jonathan on my blog and you should find all of it) but I realize now that I never posted my refs for him. They're low-key a year old but here ye go:

For his lore I've mostly decided to base it around the Scarecrow: Year One backstory, because that one is my favorite- so he was abandoned by his mother with his grandma, she's abusive and Christian, something something crows, he kills her at some point (to be so honest, when it comes to childhoods for my rogues, I just have a bunch of vague ideas that sound better in my head than written out in a textpost lol).

He worked as a professor before being fired for "misconduct" (aka the gun incident) and slinking off to work on his fear toxin and be a psychiatrist at Arkham. I love love love him and Harley being Arkham coworker buddies before they became Arkham inmate buddies, so they're important parts of each other's stories. Uhhh don't ask me how yet I just know that they are.

Scarecrow is genuinely my favorite rogue (like I love eddie but it isn't even close) but you would NOT be able to tell with how little I draw the guy 😭 thank you so much for the ask tho :D they make me feel so happy and help me to keep drawing and making things :] it felt good to think about these goobers again, I need to draw more Jamsverse stuff lol
