The last few days I’ve seen some really horrible things and I’ve seen some really beautiful things. We have all seen the horrible things so let’s concentrate on the good stuff. This weekend I saw millions of people lose their fear of authority. I saw a worldwide peaceful protest that could only be silenced with a dumb curfew, tear gas and rubber bullets. And I saw a fascist dictator hide in the darkness of his bunker while the people stormed his palace. This weekend was awful. But some good did come out of it. Black Lives Matter. Forever and always. I stand with everyone who is fighting back.

This album is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite Charli albums and she kicked it out in five weeks during quarantine. I stan this girl for life 💪

The cat is finally out of the bag! @jonpstevenson, @annieelizabeth87 and our team at @prettypeoplepix have been making this movie in secret for the past THREE YEARS!! I have said virtually nothing about it this whole time! I’m an oversharing person so this was hard. Anyway, this movie kicks all kinds of ass and I can not WAIT to share it with the world. You guys are in for a treat. Thank you @ifcmidnight, @boulderlightpictures and everyone at @prettypeoplepix for their dedication and hard work. UNDERWATER just absolutely kicks all kinds of ass, FYI. You’ve got the best actress in the world surrounded by fantastic costars (John Gallagher Jr!!) in a movie that makes ALIEN and GRAVITY look like nice vacations. It’s made by a seriously talented director (I *love* LOVE) with a heavy Ridley Scott aesthetic and a script with FURY ROAD-like pacing. Oh and let’s see, what am I forgetting OH YEAH ITS A GOD DAMNED CTHULU MOVIE!!! If you’re like me, that single sentence is all you need, right?? So why the hell does this movie have a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes?! WTF?! Because there’s like two scenes where you think “Oh, I bet they *actually* didnt film this on the ocean floor...this is probably CGI.” WTF?!?! Anyway, I know I got some horror movie and Lovecraft fans that follow me who probably missed this like I did so dont sleep on this. Kristen Stewart as Ripley against Cthulu bruh. This is a real movie that you can rent and own and watch!!!

Ive been registered with the Green Party for 17 years, have voted in every election and was told at the polls today I couldn’t vote unless I de-affiliated. It took 10 mins and then I was able to vote. I just wanted to put this out there in case you’re in a minor party and were wondering why you never received a ballot. Go to the polls, fill out the paperwork and vote.

I’ve been listening to Jack Boys all year. This dude then got me interested in Drill. Two days ago I was telling Annie how cool his voice is. It was all fun, new and exciting!! Now he’s gone. 20 years old. What a tragedy. RIP Pop Smoke.

I just read this book and it’s super fun and highly recommend it. It perfectly captures just how fucking awesome that year was for movies. It was a fun read b/c 1999 was a foundational year for me. I vividly remember seeing the following films at the theater: The Blair Witch Project, Fight Club, The Matrix, American Beauty, The Insider, Sixth Sense, Phantom Menace and a couple other not so amazing movies like The Cider House Rules and The Haunting. Anyway, this is book is super fun! Check it out.
