Stifling a yawn, Bartolomeo’s eyes roved– in search of a place to get real comfortable at. 

After a long search, though in reality only a minute or two passed, the cannibal made way towards his new found spot– where some woman was probably comfortable at but Bartolomeo had other plans in mind. Or rather one plan in mind and that was to get as comfortable as possible in that very same spot. 

Wearing his usual grin, he towered over the woman with the teardrop on her face, taking a seat next to her– only to shift into a more comfortable position by laying on his side. Scratching his ass a bit, he finally relaxed his head on his hand, elbow propped his head up. His head was a little too close to the woman, so he figured should say something. “Oi, scoot, yeah? You’re gettin’ in the way of me tryna get comfortable here, girlie.”

                 ◤✘◢ Jinana herself didn’t quite understand what a comfort zone was, despite frequently giving others their space. Usually, this would be reciprocated, so she assumed that this was what is socially acceptable among most. It only took a large male with similar green tresses to make her realize that personal space was a preference over a social norm. 

                       She wasn’t too bothered by the sudden lack of space; though it was odd that he would sit so close in a place that wasn’t the least bit crowded. Shifting to the left a little, the asura found herself perplexed at the male’s request. How peculiar it was that he wanted the same exact spot that she was sitting in. While she wouldn’t mind giving in, the former tribe leader discovered a sense of stubbornness that she didn’t know she possessed. 

                  « I wasn’t aware that this spot was in high demand. Luckily, it seems as though there’s room for both of us. How pleasant. »

                       The abrupt noise that plowed into the premise did nothing but stout absolute fear from the woman. Oichi’s eyes flared a firey purple haze, and she’d come to look at the source of the noise. She was but a woman of fight or flight, with little ability to interact or pay mind especially considering to what world she came from. One riddled without such technologies, such an atrocity zooming past along it’s tracks was but a threat in her eyes.                          As thus, darken hand’s pooled forth from the gates of the netherworld that radiated from beneath her. Their queen was distressed and with no other way to comprehend what this train was, the delicate woman fell into a plight of panic. She’d fallen into no less a plight of wrath and with as loud and obnoxious as the train’s metal’s screeching against it’s tracks. Oichi could not make light of what the woman reaching out to her was saying.                         Her hands cover over her ears, and she crouches down low. Nearly erratic mentally by such an experience, but her hands had sought out her desires. Upon extending forth they reach to lift an empty car tossing it’s weight into the direction of the train.                                                                   It misses.                           Only because it’s length had run it’s course down it’s tracks nearest to them and continued down the street away from them. It’s slew of noises continued to lessen, but Oichi herself was still in a state of panic; to think that such monstrous things existed around her only prompted her inability to accept the world around her further.

                         ❝       No  more— ‘Ichi  cannot  stand this.  ❞

           ◤✘◢ Empathy. She felt overwhelming empathy. Her power- her display was all too familiar to the tribe leader. Jinana had her own monstrous side that was provoked by certain situations- hunger being the most prominent case. She hated it.

               The asura only wanted to help; she could tell that this wasn’t her usual behavior. The train had so blatantly caused emotion disarray that she wished to resolve. The woman had no idea how to do so, but she would try. There had to be a way to help her.ease back into a more tranquil form. 

                After hesitance, she ran forward carrying no fear of the other’s state- of the shadowy hands that emerged from around her being. She had to get close to her; yelling from a distance would be counterproductive and possibly only add to this current state that she was in. 

                She crouched down near the female- despite her state, her beauty was evident. Slowly as not to startle her, she placed lithe digits on her countenance, covering her ears ever so slightly. The Maribel would have to think quick; she would have to analyze her responses in order to create a solution that would be beneficial. 

            « Everything will be okay- you will be okay. I... »

                Worst case scenario, she could transform into Usas and carry her elsewhere. While Usas was large and monstrous, this form wasn’t boisterous. She would just have to control herself- to maintain a grip on her humanity in order to assure that she wouldn’t do anything that she regrets in that form, but... Perhaps such an act wouldn’t be necessary.

            « Do you want to go somewhere more quiet?»

   〢▸ The ballroom was astonishing. High above their heads the roof vaulted, beams disappearing into a darkness that encased a majestic display of what the universe was made of; glittering stars, nebulas, and massive galaxies. Desperate to locate the silver lining behind every situation they faced, her hands shook ever so slightly. The shaman was ashamed to admit she couldn’t even make proper eye contact with the leader of the Maribel tribe.

   ❝I’m glad that we all decided to come after all… Get a chance to experience this…,❞ she commented finally, a smile on her lips, but words were spoken with a voice that betrayed her a little, soft and tinged with the persistent wish that the silence of the demons in their heads would continue past this night. ❝Even if the rain had stopped in the Junkyard, I don’t think the sky could even compare to this one.❞

             ◤✘◢ The Maribel leader was easily impressed with what was before her. The sights she saw were unlike any other- something she hadn’t even concocted within her own imagination. Perhaps it was childish to be this impressed with her surroundings as not many others looked with the same awe that the two females did. Jinana would be content standing in silence with the girl, not thinking anything odd of it. However, a more shaky voice had emerged through all the noise, summoning her into conversation.

                  «It’s unlike anything I have ever imagined.» She voiced her thoughts aloud. The tribe leader had grown more and more perceptive with others, still trying to learn the correct words for certain emotions that she would feel or see displayed.  « Sera, are you truly enjoying yourself or is there something on your mind?» 

                  Social boundaries normally discouraged such questioning among acquaintances, but she did care for the girl’s well being- whether or was external or internal. « I’m... getting used to my emotions- there are truly so many. However, that also means I’m more perceptive towards others. Go ahead and correct me if my question was... not relevant.»

In hopes of being heard, Argilla leaned to whisper in her companion’s ear, “What do you think so far? Do you like it?” A smile is shown right after the sentence, proud as if all had been her doing. Distancing herself is not among her plans, decided to keep a close look on Jinana after all. Despite the stunning decoration, loud music and exterior chatter, eyes alone paid attention to what truly mattered and that was her. For now, having a seat worked while other danced. Snacking quietly on what she took from the table, merely letting herself enjoy her date. 

The sniper rarely had a chance to feel so happy, even more with the constant misfortune experienced but all in all, the year was granting her a good end.

“My first time was really weird, but I’m starting to understand how these work. It’s not so bad, being surrounded by people.” Another bite on the appetizer. “I hope you have some bits of information about dancing, I really want to try that with you..”

                ◤✘◢ Her eyes were opened to something she had grown accustomed to. Without worry, numerous citizens gathered in a single location only to ‘have fun’ with one another. The surrounding area was quite boisterous, yet she found peace in the sight before her; it managed to remind her of more simple times that took place so long ago. 

                     However, concentration could easily be broken by her voice. Her gaze was now placed on the woman who had accompanied her to this ball (apparently it was customary to ask someone close to you to attend this kind of event), and it immediately provoked red lips to curve into a smile. 

                «Argilla...» The Maribel gained a certain satisfaction from saying her name. «This is quite wonderful; I’m truly grateful to you for inviting me here. It makes me happy to see so many people enjoying themselves- to see you enjoying yourself. » She mentioned dancing. While she had never carried out this act herself, it was only natural for her to observe others. It couldn’t possibly be that difficult, right?  «I think I’ve gathered enough information about dancing. I’m sure the two of us could execute this flawlessly.»

Even when she would have to explain the festivity, Argilla /had/ to give her something. Wrapped a tad clumsily with a rather big boy, there is a box of makeup and a sweater too. Not satisfied, the embryon's sniper had acquired a bouquet of roses too. "Merry Christmas, Jinana."

                    «These are... for me? »

              She extends her arms to accept to box and the roses, happiness slowly overtaking surprised features. Interactions with others had prepared her for the season. While the former tribe leader hadn’t understood why this ‘Christmas’ triggered all to purchase gifts for loved ones, she managed to pick up a small piece of jewelry that rested in her coat pocket. Unfortunately, the embellishment process had never occurred.

                   Balancing her gifts under the arm, she retrieved the necklace as red lips tugged into an inevitable smile. She extended it forward as the gem dangled between pale fingers.

                        « Merry Christmas to you as well, Argilla. »

Since they had been outside, it might have been better to wake her. However, Jinana couldn’t help but feel that she deserved a moment of peace.She softly laid her head over pink tresses only to follow in a pursuit of sleep.

               Unable to make eye contact, she cast her gaze aside. Fists repetitively clenching and releasing, her breathing remained sharp. She held disdain for the form she had previously occupied; the former tribe leader couldn’t come to terms with her monstrous side. Gently, she wrapped her fingers around the the other’s wrist as she finally managed to make eye contact.

              The bouquet was simple, but maintained a certain air of elegance. She curled her fingers around the gift with glimmering eyes. The gesture wasn’t present in the Junkyard; the former tribe leader was observant enough to learn that the citizens in the city would give flowers to those who they were close to as a gift of sorts. How odd it was that she felt her eyes tearing up; quickly, she wiped her face with her sleeve.
