Ncuti Gatwa SNL UK Monologue
the year is 2039. season 17 of the pitt is coming to an end. in the finale, trinity santos finds a sad and exhausted pittling dealing with the idea of a lonely night after an exruciating shift where they and their coworkers were all weirdly forced to face their inner turmoils at the same time. she tells them it's mercury retrograde and offers them a movie night at her house. 37 other doctors of various importance she's previously adopted wait for them in the car. they all fit in it like clowns.
we don’t talk enough about taskmaster being on youtube for free. i don’t mean someone uploaded the episodes to youtube i mean The Official Taskmaster Youtube has every single episode on their channel, in their entirety, For Free. they want their show to be internationally available for everyone to watch. every episode goes up the day after it airs in the uk. you can just go watch the entire show legally. for free. on youtube. go do that!!

England isn't a real country, stupid. England is a lie to sell you more Doctor Who
As someone from England, yea.
maybe we should all live
many things wrong with me. well at least i'm bisexual.
I hated the Project Hail Mary book with all the passion in my shriveled hateful heart so now I'm seething and boiling in fury that everyone seems to love the movie

Sometimes in a professional setting you’ll come across someone in their 60s who just cannot open a PDF in their email. And the thing is. They’re lowkey not old enough to be acting like that. You guys were in your early 30s at the latest when email took off. You’ve actually been doing this for longer than I have. Get real and click on the damn attachment.
something else i'm thinking about re: characters who predict their own future AND characters who perform repetitive rituals is mary katherine blackwood from we have always lived in the castle.. like. she spends the whole book burying things in the yard and nailing books to trees and choosing secret words of protection in order to keep the house and her sister safe from outsiders but what actually ends up repelling charles is her destroying his room, setting the house on fire, and putting the poison the sugar, which happened years ago but continues to unsettle everyone who steps in the door.... we learn that it is not the house that repels people, or that makes time stand still, but rather mary katherine herself, who spends all her time not only carrying out rituals of protection but also doing whatever is necessary to keep everyone else out and her sister in... the afterward in my copy says that by the end of the book, "the world... has placed a crown on merricat's head [and] her empire is stasis," but the world didn't do anything; merricat did it all herself. and so all the while her narration makes it sound like the events of the book are fated to happen, SHE is the driving force of the narrative; she "has stilled her family, nailed them like a book to a tree"... she can predict the future only because she will go to any lengths to bring about the future she wants to live in, and her rituals of protection work because she chooses to protect the house at any cost...
People exhaust me. I want to kill myself if I do not see people. I do not do anything for days on end. I still feel so tired. I want something to change. I am still as a tree.
I wish I was less online. I wish I was more online. I wish I could connect strongly with people. I wish my life was fulfilling and satisfying.
