Hi! I'm Jynx! I'm a 22 year old disabled artist who's taking a forced gap semester from an associates in psychology (long and honestly kind of embarrassing story that I won't get into lol. Let's just say I probably should've gotten ADHD treatment before going to college for a degree).

A QUICK NOTE: I was active in the Sonic fandom from 2020–2022 as menace-sonic-fan. I bring this up because things mentioned there might be mentioned again here, or I might misremember where I mentioned something. I abandoned that blog for personal reasons I would rather not discuss. In part because of experiences related to that blog and unrelated events that were going on around the same time, I use the block button liberally. Do not evade a block to ask why you were blocked or have someone else ask why you were blocked.

My main/personal/Ace Attorney blog is @jynxedshapeshifter and I follow/like from @jinxed-ninjago (because I was a dumbass when I made my account lmfao).

My blog is not spoiler free. I tag spoilers, but I do post spoilers for new Sonic content.

My favorite Sonic characters are Silver and the Chaotix.

My favorite Sonic ship is Espilver. They're like a sub-hyperfixation for me lol

My favorite Sonic games are Sonic Forces, Team Sonic Racing, Sonic Generations, and Sonic and the Black Knight.

I have a tendency to project aspects of myself onto characters I like (for example, when I write Silver in fanfiction, I very much base his characterization on myself). If you don't like something I post, I will not be offended if you block me (please do block me if you don't want to see my posts actually. It's much healthier to do than sending me anon hate lol).

Considering how he is with Sage (he specifically wonders to himself if she has a pronoun preference), it'd be weirder to me if he didn't enthusiastically support Metal if she came out as a trans woman

it is still disability pride month and soooooooooo what's everybody's niche disability headcanons? That is, not a mainstream one, eg Amy colorblind/ Sonic ADHD etc.?

I like Silver with double-jointedness/ a connective tissue disorder. He didn't realize not everybody could squeeze into tiny gaps and dislocate their jaw to bite someone extra wide. It didn't used to cause him problems but later in life he wears joint supports most of the time to keep his knee caps on the right way etc.

I have a character I made out of spite (in the "cringe culture is dead" way) who's blood related to Shadow. He's a Black Arms/thylacine hybrid and was created to prevent thylacines from going extinct. Sometimes he plays video games with Shadow at GUN headquarters

I love that Knuckles instantly gets protective of Tom and Maddie when he thinks they're in danger in the second movie. He doesn't even really know them, he just protects them on instinct. I love him so fucking much

I was on the Sonic wiki looking at the script page for Crossworlds and apparently if you're playing as Espio against Vector in Japanese, Espio tells Vector he'll "race worthy of the Chaotix name" which sent me into an overanalysis spiral and now I will not be able to be convinced Chaotix is Vector, Espio, and Charmy's last name. Granted I also think Charmy's comment about being the coolest Chaotix when you play as Espio against him makes more sense if Chaotix is their last name because Chaotix has never been used as a singular noun before, it's always been used as a collective noun, but anyway, Chaotix is Vector, Espio, and Charmy's last name and my mind will not be changed
