JINZULA WEEK 2024 ANNOUNCEMENT:
It's been a while, but we're finally back for a new year of fun! Attached to this post will be the schedule for submitting prompts & voting for them, the announcement date for the chosen prompts, and the rules/guidelines for participating in the event. This is a shorter amount of time than usually passes between an announcement and the date the event takes place, but please bear with me.
PROMPT SUBMISSIONS: May 17th-May 23rd
PROMPT VOTING: May 25th-May 30th.
OFFICIAL PROMPT LIST: June 2nd (HBD to me!)
RULES FOR SUBMITTING PROMPTS & PARTICIPATION:
Prompts may not be hateful or harmful in nature. This includes:
Homophobia/Biphobia/etc.
Transphobia
Depictions of Harm or Violence
Large Age Differences (minor/adult)
Sexual Acts (both members of this ship are minors. rules about writing will be posted when final prompts are chosen)
Racism/Bigotry/etc.
This is a basic list, however, if you are unsure if the prompt you would like to submit may or may not be harmful or not accepted, please send a message with inquiries about how the week and its preemptive events will take place.

umm, i honestly don't know? i know i did a very short poll and people seemed interested but life got really hectic for me over the last month or so and so I actually haven't been able to give it anymore thought. I'd LOVE to do it though, so let's count this as an interest post. vote on then rb this poll and we'll see what happens!

As soon as they’ve passed through the entrance, the scent of sugary, deep fried, fair food surrounds them. Elephant ears, funnel cake fries, mini donuts… Jin’s mouth is beginning to water and they’ve hardly been here for fifteen seconds. But they keep walking, past the food stands and commercial booths lining the gravel road into the heart of the fairground. They’ll get food later. Right now, Izumi and Kya have a different focus: the rides.

somehow i’m feeling, it’s up that i fell
written for @jinzulaweek22 day four: secret relationship
See, their relationship was never supposed to be a secret.
When they started dating, they kind of had a mutual understanding—the secrecy just sort of happened. They never discussed hiding their relationship, they just did.
They had dinner with Uncle shortly after they got together. He asked them how their weekend was, if they did anything fun. Their eyes met from across the table, and within seconds, they both knew that neither were ready to tell him.
Of course, they did want to take things slow. Azula was, to be frank, scared—absolutely terrified by the very idea of dating someone. She grew up learning that relationships were fake, forged to benefit her. Relationships were to exist only with the permission of her father. They were something that she always ached for, something she fantasized about at night in the security of her dreams.
