Andy Bernard is bisexual.

As a bi/pan woman I can confirm.

I lowk have nowhere else to go with this headcanon and I want to get more active on tumblr so here we are.

• Season 6 Ep 1: Gossip, a rumor is spread he is gay he tries to deny it but gets confused, and even states his confusion to Jim..what's another word for a confused sexuality? Queer.

• He dates/almost married Angela, which can be a form of internalized homophobia thinking it would reassure everyone in his life he is straight...when he in fact he is not

• Also! Asking people if you're gay is a very queer-coded/ bi thing (I don't know for sexualities if people do this I can only speak from my experience), but l always asked am I gay to people because I was unsure.

• If he is, he's honestly great representation and adds a nuance to his character. The feeling of being uncertain because he's still attracted to the opposite sex but he isn't fully against engaging or trying the same sex. Furthermore, he does engage in very stereotypical gay hobbies which that doesn't fully mean anything but when other people in those groups also think you're gay...and those people in the groups are gay...it probably means something (happened too many times to count)

• When someone is bi...for some reason people know. It's an aura and he has an aura...a blue pink and purple aura.

• This is all fun and games and a bored headcanon so if you believe or not it's own opinion in the end he dates women so yeah but uh he def could've been bi...but also this show was made in the early 2000s and there was pretty much two sexualities popularized at that point so he experiences what bisexuals still experience the "that doesn't exist vou're either gay or straiaht no in between".

extremes

I am scared. I messed up. I am such a bad friend. A bad decision maker. I am not good at anything. I can’t do anything on time. I can’t do anything right. I hurt everyone who trusts me. I hurt everyone around me.

I thought I was doing the right thing that its good for everyone, that it was in their favour. But I was wrong. I am just a fucked up mess and everyone's gonna leave.

I am no one’s. Either I am too selfish, or I am too selfless.

Why am I always at the extremes? Why is life always on extremes?

Once, I was at the top of my class. Now I have the lowest grade. Once, I was the listener. Now I always have my headphones on. Once, I was the most talkative. Now I don’t even want to say hi.

And now... I can’t even get out of bed. Healed enough to not want to die, but dead enough to not be able to continue living.

Because you are not here. Because the voice... the one that would’ve said: “Breathe, love. I know you’ll do it.” That voice is not here anymore. Because the person I ran to is the one who walked away.

So here’s another poem from another poem from around a year ago. It was time when I felt divided between what I had been taught and what I was seeing. To this day this poem really connects to me and that struggle to decipher between facts and fiction. Anyway, the format is crucial to the poem and the art it’s supposed to display thus unfortunately I had to screenshot it so excuse the unaesthetic appearance.

kids deserve so much more respect and it turns out that saying that is a great way to locate the horrible people in any community <3

you'll say something as simple as "no child deserves to be hit" and people will crawl out of the woodwork to explain why they should be allowed to beat a 6 year old for spilling some water

you'll say "i think it's weird that adults literally have control over when children are allowed to use the bathroom" and up pops a teacher to say that when they're not shouting at the kids they teach, they're trying to stop them from hiding in the bathrooms

you'll say "i think children shouldn't be forced to eat food they hate" and here comes someone who feeds their kids plain rice and boiled chicken (while eating a nicely seasoned stirfry) claiming that it's okay actually and kids shouldn't be allowed to taste things

you'll say "i think kids should have bodily autonomy" and in comes someone who pierced their babies ears before it was even 24 hours old, frothing at the mouth because their kid wanted a haircut and thats somehow an insult

children are an oppressed class and everyone should be looking back at their own childhoods and making sure they don't ever make a child feel the same way they felt.

I saw this cool one-word poetry prompt and said screw it, I’ll try it. So here’s my attempt, brought to you by my car trauma.(Prompt: Ignite)

Ignition

Fasten your seatbelt,

Insert the key,

Turn the fob,

Let it roar.

The idea of driving is easy,

Push the pedal, move on.

Cruise slowly, merge fast.

Don’t dwell on perjuries of the past.

The car does the work for you,

You can hop from place to place,

Keep going with your life,

And extinguish every thought of

How?

The air will mix with the gas,

It will always burn and burn,

All it needs is a spark,

A precisely lit plug,

To ignite.

I remember the day of the crash,

I remember crying for hours,

I remember sweating through my hands,

I remember it all.

I remember the spark.

From then on,

My air mixed with trepidation,

It built a tension that grew seeing cars,

And it broke when the spark lit,

I ignited with fear.

Frantic breathing,

My moms screaming,

I was uncontrollable at 16.

Too trapped by a past at 8.

The car was supposed to do the work.

But I couldn’t move on,

I couldn’t get place to place,

I was stuck on that morning,

Reliving it day in and day out,

Always burning and burning.

Me and that car,

It got repaired,

And so did I,

But every time we see a bus,

We both die a little inside.

His spark settles after the fob turns,

My spark settles with a foot on the ground,

Yet we’re always waiting,

To be reignited.

I feel the hesitation,

The sense that no distance,

However far,

Will ever stop this

Burning and burning.

I am one simple spark away from igniting.

Hi, so I know I never came back and that’s because I’m scared. Writing is a part of my soul, but if I coward now then I’ll never know what could be. So I’m back, this poem was the first I made around a year ago. My family is close to my heart, but no family is perfect especially ones that try to be. Thus, my true feelings came here and wrote this and that’s how I write my poems. Anyway, enjoy! Or don’t, just let me know y’know.

First things first

Hi, I get bored and write sometimes with absolutely no plot or anything. Also I know this isn’t grammatically well written, but I don’t have an editor and so here we are. Anyway, I just get randomly inspired and write, so here’s a scene for a story going nowhere:

She shouldn’t be blamed for the blood on her hands. Not when they had made the moronic choice to bring up her family. Not when they dared threaten her livelihood. Truly, anyone should have seen it coming.

For her eyes had narrowed slightly at the mention of her sister, when the man had begun to detail what he would do with such innocence. They had mistaken her smile for weakness, but alas it is her strength all along, for who would suspect the girl with a golden smile could dislocate the jaw of a manchild? Certainly not the police.

Not that she’d still be here in this alleyway by the time they arrived. Her friends had made sure to force her off of him by then.

Their own faces appalled yet horrified by her dismantled behavior. Her hand bled from the impact of the sucker’s weak bones, her smile twisted in something akin to insanity, her laugh reverberated in her chest as she stared gleefully at her victim, everything painted how it was supposed to be. Tears and blood mixed on his face and cries of pain like a pitiful song blistering her soul.

No one had seen this coming, and they never would. For it wasn’t others business what she did in her spare time.

“What the actual fuck was that Cyrus?” She answered with a smile, a sweet one. The one she wore always, that expressed youthfulness and cheeriness. The smile that resembled her namesake: the Sun.

Funny how similar she’d consider herself to the sun. Too bright that it blinds people to the point they’ll get burned. And how easily susceptible they are to getting burnt.

People will eagerly spend hours in the Sun’s warm embrace only to be met with a punishment. Cyrus appealed to others, but when they found out her true nature, they often got hurt or frightened. Strangely, they’ll never learn.
